Servicing the Hydraulic Motor Perform this procedure using the necessary parts from Motor Service Kit Minor (P/N -00). If the hydraulic motor is operable, start the machine and jog the piston rod () into its top position. NOTE: Servicing of the hydraulic motor should be carried out in a clean, dust free area only. Any dust or metallic particles left in the motor or entering it on reassembly may damage the critical parts and affect its service life and warranty. All parts should be inspected for absolute cleanliness. Disassembling the Hydraulic Motor. Disconnect the pressure hose from the elbow ( and in Hydraulic System parts list) on the back of the hydraulic pump.. Remove the two mounting screws and two lock washers ( and, in Cart Assembly parts list) that attach the motor/pump assembly to the cart.. Hydraulic Motor Cut-Away Torque flex locknut to 0 ft./lbs. (N/m). Use blue Loctite. Torque head plug to ft./lbs. ( N/m). Do not over-tighten o-ring seal. Fluid Section Torque trip retainers to ft./lbs. ( N/m). Do not over-tighten o-ring seal. Motor/ Pump Block Torque piston retainers to ft./lbs. (0 N/m). Use red Loctite. Use blue Loctite on lock ring. Seal lip must face down. 0 0 Use hydraulic sealant. Seal lip must face up. Valve rod assembly is factory set and permanently Loctited.
