OVERVIEW A4 Family Overview: The 2017 Audi A4 is standard equipped with 2.0-liter TFSI engine and either a sevenspeed S tronic dual clutch automatic transmission with front-wheel drive or available quattro all-wheel drive or a six-speed manual, to deliver 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 A4 ultra model features a more efficient variant of the 2.0-liter TFSI engine with seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission to deliver 190 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. The 2018 Audi S4 is standard equipped with an a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission to produce 354 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. The A4 with manual transmission features a new quattro all-wheel drive system with ultra technology that is optimized for fully-variable torque distribution and efficiency. The redesigned front five-link suspension on all A4 and S4 models offers greater steering precision and excellent handling through optimized steering-rack placement direct at wheel centers Available on 2018 S4 models is dynamic steering, which offers a variable steering ratio that adjusts based on vehicle speed and Audi drive select setting, and sport adaptive damping suspension. Exclusively available on the A4 manual is a Sport plus package featuring flow formed cast aluminum 18 5-double-spoke-star design wheels, available Daytona Gray exterior paint, S line leather/alcantara interior with sport seats, stainless steel pedal caps, flat-bottom steering wheel and blushed aluminum decorative inlays. Also included is Audi dynamic steering and sport adaptive suspension (-23mm ride height), both of which were previously reserved only for S4 models.
