Under ideal conditions, the human eye can make-out approximately 3000 stars and that from an immeasurably high number of heavenly bodies. 3000 glittering points, which, at first glance, appear very similar. This situation is comparable with the continually growing market of low-voltage switchgear technology. In the wake of the market success of SIRIUS, in recent years, a wide range of switchgear and switching devices from various competitors has been developed. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to select the optimum device from the huge range which is available in the marketplace. This is the reason that we are providing you with a single overview. This overview lists the Order Nos. of our SIRIUS devices and the devices from our major competitors starting from circuit-breakers through contactors and overload relays up to pre-assembled load feeders. This is in the form of a transparent table using Order Nos. so that you always have an easy overview.. The nominal values at 400 V AC, 50 Hz for 4-pole Standard Motors (Siemens) provide the basis for the comparison. These lists can then be used to select equivalent SIRIUS devices.
