Installing Batteries Key Ring Receivers Each Key Ring Receiver uses one CR2032 button cell battery (included). See the illustrations below of the receiver s battery cover in both locked and unlocked positions. Note that 2 dots will be aligned when the battery cover is locked, and misaligned when the battery cover is unlocked. Locked Unlocked 1. To open the battery compartment on a receiver, find the two aligned dots on the back and use a coin to slightly twist the battery cover to the left to unlock. Note: You may need to lift the cover with your fingernail, or gently tap the receiver s side on the table, to dislodge the battery cover. 2. Install the supplied battery into the Key Ring Receiver. Ensure the + positive side of the battery is facing up. 5

3. To replace the battery cover, ensure the lock tabs are in the correct slots by making sure both dots are in close proximity to each other (see below). When the cover sits down in the receiver, slightly twist the battery cover to the right with a coin until the dots line up and the battery cover is secure. DO NOT force or over-rotate the battery cover. Slot Dots in correct position to replace battery compartment cover. Lock Tab Battery Cover Transmitter Uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). 1. 2. 3. 4. If the Key Ring Receiver is in range (60 feet), it emits an audible beep. If no beep is heard, change your location and press the color-coded button again.
