Engineering and manufacture plant Custom Design In addition to production line products manufactured under the ISO 618 standard, Vanguard Marine has its own design department to develop special products to meet the most demanding technical specifications, including regulations and standards from SOLAS/IMO and rescue organisations, as well as military applications for various armed forces and government products. Materials Tubes can be manufactured from any of the three existing materials on the market, PVC, Neoprene-Hypalon and Polyurethane PU, in line with customer requirements. Vanguard Marine holds a stock of all these materials and can provide independent advice on the best material for specific activities. PVC and Polyurethane PU are manufactured using mechanical and robotic systems, together with Thermosealing technology, a highly cost-effective industrial process that ensures consistent quality. The Neoprene Hypalon manufacture process uses the traditional manual cold gluing method. Thermosealing is the industrial process for assembling the different parts of the air tube using a simultaneous double seal process rolled at high pressure, with double band inner/outer joins that make the seams stronger that the materials that are used. It includes a 300/00 L under deck fuel tank that gives extra stability and great range. It also has a large bow locker to easily store equipment. The reinforced transom avoids the deck to inundate when decelerating heavily as well as giving easy access to electronic parts and bilge pump. All RIBs can be fitted out and customised according to client s specifications. The ample deck can be customized with a wide range of optional accessories according to the needs of every client and service. There is an under deck stowage accessible through an aluminium hatch, the self bailing deck easily drains the excess of water on deck, and the tubes above sea level provide better manoeuvrability. 1 SOLAS equipment kit SOLAS RESCUE BOAT SERIES Robust, lightweight and high-capacity semi-rigid compact boat, designed, built and tested under the latest standards. The hull is manufactured from 4mm thick marine aluminium and has a closed cell foam core to ensure it is lightweight and fast while providing excellent stability and low fuel consumption.
