Powerful and gentle as never before: the new SE 75/85-55 There is nothing that cannot be improved! From this statement the new SE 75/85-55 was developed. Nowadays this range of machine is the most widely sold offset trailed potato harvester of its kind. More than 8,000 machines have been supplied and are working away reliably high quality machines made by Grimme. Based on the successful SE-technology, Grimme now presents the most powerful single row harvester in its class, the SE 75/85-55. The machine has approved with various further development for the practical use. Among other things, the machine is now equipped with a larger bunker with a capacity of 5,8 tonnes as well as the latest Grimme digital technology. This machine matches the requirements of the potato grower who is looking for a machine which fits between the existing 1-row and 2-row machines. INTAKE Powerful: gentle harvesting starts at the intake 1 From the experienced for the experienced: the off-set intake on the right-hand side of the machine for simplified handling of the machine. The pulled intake unit with big, spring loaded disc coulters and haulm intake rollers ensures a smooth harvesting. Choice of intake width (disc coulter distance) between 540, 580, 620 or 660 mm. The digging depth is controlled by the diablo roller and can manually be adjusted. An automatic ridge pressure control or hydraulic ridge relief with pre-set pressure from the operator terminal is available as option. The pressure regulation avoids unnecessary blockings as clods in heavy and wet soils as well as crop damage with many stones. At the same time keeps it the ridge shape at light soils (1). 5 2 3 Well taken in: adjustable digging shares to adapt to an ideal digging depth. And use the 2-piece share for heavy soils and the 3-piece share for medium to light soil (2). The slip control is standard. Spring loaded scraper combs ensure the durability, 1 additional scraper comb is available (option). Optimum gentle crop handling: deviner web with soft polyurethane flights (distance 200 or 280 mm) Transport Transport Gentle crop handling pockets arise in combination with the 2 nd main web and deviner web. Those transport the crop in portions onto the 1 st separator, which keeps the crop flow calm and avoids crop damage through transfer. Infinitely adjustable with digital technology: the 6 back holding combs (3 on top and 3 at the bottom) on the haulm web (option) Effective trash separation and gentle crop transfer at once Double scraper roller The effective separation of left haulm and smaller trash is carried out through the double scraper roller and the hedgehog webs, which are available in various pitches. The double scraper distance to the picking web is adjustable via Bowden cable from the picking area for an optimum adoption to the harvest conditions. A hydraulically adjustable height adjustment of the double scraper roller is also available (option). For a quick adoption to changing soil conditions are the double scraper roller and hedgehog webs infinitely speed adjustable. Ideal for hillside located fields is the infinitely levelling adjustment (option) to optimize the separation of trash and crop.

SEPARATOR Good separated is well picked! Type UB for soils with clods but little stone content The hedgehog web is either available with plates for light to medium soil as well with bars for heavy soil. The hydraulic drive with the infinitely speed adjustment enables an optimum adoption between crop and trash. The picker can and send the driver an acoustic warning signal. MOVING FLOOR BUNKER High capacity including high know-how 1 2 Fast and gentle unloading: the moving floor bunker (1) with a maximum unloading height of 4.20 meter. The hydraulic lifting as well as the hitching ensures an almost continuous same unloading width with changing unloading heights. Minimum drop: moving floor bunker with head end lowering with optimized drop height while filling the trailer (option) (2) 3 4 For all, with high goals: the large dimensioned bunker (3) has about 5,500 kg capacity and simply by pushing a button lifts hydraulically to a maximum unloading height of 4.20 meter. Thoroughly thought through: the motors of the moving floor bunker fitted to the inside not only work away reliably but also well protected against collision (4). Higher capacity: with the automatic bunker filling a manual operation is not necessary anymore, optimum reach of the bunker capacity of plus 300 kg (option).

ATTACHMENT AND DRIVE Good combination: strong drives and robust drawbar Smooth running: The maintenance free drive of the 2 nd main web and wide haulm web ensures a smooth running of the machine. All drawbars are height adjustable to adapt to the different tractor sizes (4).
