PM synchronous drive Powertrain test needs small and low inertia permanent magnet synchronous to avoid interference with transmission to simulate engine torque pulse. Electric powertrain high speed In particular, hybrid or electric vehicle motor testing requires a low-inertia permanent magnet synchronous that requires more than 20,000 rpm. Up to 120,000rpm ultra-high speed Ultra-high-speed with air bearing or maglev bearing for automotive, aerospace and scientific testings. Performance can be customized. Megawatt water-cooled The megawatt water-cooled or with mix cooling reduces noise levels, ensuring effective cooling of the windings and rotors and reducing vibration. Power and torque curves The figure below shows the typical AC power curves (yellow solid line for continuous operation and yellow dotted line for short time overload) and torque curves (green solid line for continuous operation and green dotted line for short time overload). Usually the short time overload defines as one minute overload within ten minutes. The overload percentage is 120%. The overload time and percentage can be revised according to the motor design margin. The torque is constant when the AC is in the range from zero speed to the rated speed. Between the rated speed and the maximum speed, the torque value decreases with increasing speed. The constant power speed range in below figure since the rated speed to maximum speed.
