Because structurally they can lk very different and be set up in all srts f different lcatins it is smetimes cnfusing just what we, as the health department require. Envirnmental Health wants t make the prcess less cmplicated and cnfusing. The purpse f this infrmatinal bulletin is t highlight sme f the basics that yu as a fd vendr need t knw s yu can perate nt nly easily, but safely as well. WHAT THIS PACKET CONTAINS- EASY AS 1-2-3! 1. Bth Structure Basics-Safety & Setup Diagrams (page 2) It just makes gd business sense t run a safe peratin. We diagramed the basics fr yu based upn ur experience t assist yu. It prtects yur custmers, reduces yur liability, and ensures yur custmers will cme back fr mre withut filing a cmplaint with us. 2. Permit Applicatin (page 3) If yu have nt already dne s, please cmplete the applicatin fr health permit and submit it. Yu need an apprved permit t perate. 3. Operatins Specificatins (pages 4 &5) Tell us a little bit abut yur peratin. We can then help guide yu better thrugh the requirements. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION What permit d I need? If all yur fd is prepared prir t the event and yu will be dispensing r ffering fd and beverages frm prefilled cntainers, yur bth will be cnsidered prepackaged with pen sampling and beverage dispensing. If this is yur bth, cmplete the attached applicatin. Other permits available: If all yur fd is prepared prir t the event and individually packaged, yu will be cnsidered a prepackaged fd bth. N pening f packages r preparatin f fd is allwed at the event. If this is yur bth, STOP here and refer t the Prepackaged TFF Infrmatinal Bulletin. If yu plan t prepare and serve fd nsite, yu will be cnsidered pen fd. If yu are an pen fd bth, STOP here and refer t the Unpackaged TFF Infrmatin Bulletin. Submit this cmpleted packet at least tw weeks befre the event t allw enugh time fr evaluatin. A self-inspectin checklist will be prvided t yu nce yur packet has been submitted.
