5A MODEL GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS v3.1 UltraPure 2

General Specification for Ultrapure Automatic Fuel Maintenance & Conditioning System 5A Model Input power requirement: 120/240V 1-phase, 208/480V 3-phase Rated flow rate: 5 GPM / 300 GPH (19 L/min) Designed for a 3,000gal (11,356L) diesel fuel storage facility 1. Control 1.1. Model 5A is controlled by PLC micro-processor. 1.2. Controller to be UL, cul and CE recognized. 1.3. Control unit will have a long life battery back-up system to provide software integrity during prolonged power loss, shipping and maintenance cycles. 1.4. All software is to be factory loaded prior to shipment and a permanent copy of each customer s software is to be maintained at the manufacture s location. 1.5. Software updates are to be provided through out equipment life time. 1.6. Digital 2 line LCD display interface for all user defined programming. 1.7. PIN code protection for user functions. 1.8. PLC has user selectable remote communication capabilities. 1.9. PLC memory shall maintain an event log with error review and tracking. 1.10. Power save mode to conserve power and extend unit life. 1.11. 24/120 volt control system. 2. Monitoring The following minimum functions will be monitored by the Ultrapure PLC: 2.1. Utility power available. 2.2. Door open/close. 2.3. Cycle table. 2.4. High Pressure. 2.5. Low Pressure. 2.6. Pump status. 2.7. Generator interlock. 2.8. 3. Filtration Ultrapure Model 5A is designed to maintain stored fuel to meet or exceed ASTM (D)975 using the following seven stage filtration. 3.1. Coalescence 3.2. Bulk water removal 3.3. 40 mesh filtration 3.4. Entrained water removal 3.5. 10 micron filtration 3.6. Emulsified water removal 3.7. 2 micron filtration 4. Conditioning 4.1. An additional propriety magnetic fuel conditioning element is to be provided as a system standard. 5. Mechanical features 5.1. Unit is of rigid steel construction. 5.2. Outdoor rain and drip proof enclosure. 5.3. Hinged enclosure door with handle and gasket. 5.4. Durable powedercoat finish. 5.5. Mounting legs for ease of floor attachment. 5.6. Double compartment containment vessel 5.7. 3/4 HP pump motor. 5.8. ½ NPT plumbing inlet and outlet. 5.9. Double restrained hose and valve connections. 6. WARRANTY FOR ULTRAPURE FUEL FILTERING, ECOPURE FUEL BLENDING, AND TRANSPURE INSULATING OIL CLEANING SYSTEMS This guarantee is extended only to the original purchaser, or if the purchaser is a reseller, the first customer they sell the equipment to, and will not be honored for any subsequent owner, user or transferee of this EQUIPMENT without obtaining written consent from Clinton Nevada, LLC. Clinton UltraPure will make every effort to fill orders within the time stated, but under no circumstances will Clinton Nevada, LLC be responsible for, or purchaser entitled to, any damages arising out of or owing to any delays whatsoever in shipment, delivery or installation. All electrical and mechanical components of each ECOPURE automatic fuel blender are guaranteed against defects in material & workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from date of shipment provided all installation and operating instructions furnished with unit are adhered to. ULTRAPURE S liability shall be limited to repairing or replacing fob UltraPure s North Las Vegas Nevada plant, or allowing an equivalent credit at Clinton Nevada LLC s option for any part or parts, or material which may prove to be defective, provided the buyer gives Clinton Nevada prompt notice of the defect, and inspection, if required by Clinton Nevada, confirms such defect or defects. In no event will Clinton Nevada be liable for removal or reinstallation of any such part or parts and any costs incurred therewith. This remedy of repair, replacement or credit, at Clinton Nevada LLC s option, is the exclusive remedy hereunder.
