Periodically inspect and tighten hardware for the remainder of the unit s service life. 7.. Wash the painted surfaces of the unit with commercial automotive cleaning products. 7.. Care and maintenance for the driving range enclosure windshield and rear window is as follows: 7... Washing Use a solution of mild soap or detergent and lukewarm water. Use a clean soft cloth, applying only light pressure. Rinse with clean water and dry by blotting with a damp cloth or chamois. Remove grease, oil or tar with a good grade of hexane, aliphatic naphtha, or kerosene. These solvents should be used in accordance with manufactures recommendations. Any oily film left behind by solvents should be removed immediately by washing. See following DANGER and CAUTION. ýdanger Flammable! Explosive! Do not smoke. Keep sparks and flames away from window area while cleaning. Use in a well-ventilated area. ý CAUTION Do not use glass cleaner, kitchen scouring compounds, or solvents such as acetone, gasoline, benzene, alcohol, carbon tetrachloride or lacquer thinner on the windshield or rear window. These items can scratch the windshield surface and/or weaken the material causing small surface cracks. - Be careful when cleaning snow or frost from the windshield. - Keep windshield clean. Dirt, pollution and excessive sun exposure can damage windows. 7... Dusting Dust with a soft, damp cloth or chamois. See following CAUTION. ý CAUTION Do not use dry or gritty cloth. These items can scratch the windshield surface and/or weaken the windshield causing small surface cracks and creating a static electric charge on the surface. 7... Polishing Keep surface gloss by occasional polishing with a good plastic cleanser and polish or auto paste wax. Apply a thin, even coat with soft clean cloth and polish lightly with cotton flannel. Then wipe with a damp cloth to help eliminate electrostatic charges which can attract dust particles. 7... Removing Scratches Fine scratches can be removed by hand polishing. Apply a plastic scratch remover or compound such as Simonize cleaner to a soft flannel pad and rub the scratched area. When the scratches have disappeared, remove all residue, then polish. For deeper scratches, first sand lightly with a 00 grit "wet or dry" sandpaper using plenty of water and rinsing the sandpaper frequently. Follow by buffing with a clean muslin wheel and a good polishing compound. For the highest gloss, use a clean-up wheel made of soft cotton or flannel sections with no compound. An electric drill with a buffing wheel is also ideal. Driving Range Enclosure Kit Installation Instructions (070) Page
