Aurora Dreamband Quickstart Guide Say Hello to Aurora Aurora is a comfortable wearable sleep solution. The soft neoprene headstrap has built-in brainwave sensors to accurately track and stage sleep. Whether your goal is to improve sleep, tap into dreams or design new brainwave experiments, the accompanying mobile & desktop app suite will help you get the most from your Aurora. Front Back Headband Push Button Sensor Connector Reset Button Brainwave Sensors Micro USB RGB LEDs

What s In The Box? Your box should contain: 1 Instruction guide (That s this!) 1 Aurora module (Electronic device) 1 Brain-sensing headstrap 1 USB charging cable 1 Microfiber carrying case Remove Aurora s module and headstrap from the box. Snap Aurora onto the headstrap paying special attention that all three snap buttons are securely attached. This will connect the headstrap s brain-sensors to Aurora s electronics! You are now ready to use the device.

Getting Started First Time Use Make sure your Aurora device and apps are up to date before use. Download the Aurora Mobile App here: iwinks.io/aurora-ios iwinks.io/aurora-android Download the Aurora Desktop app for advanced access to new features and updates: iwinks.io/aurora-win iwinks.io/aurora-mac

Wearing Aurora Adjust the headstrap s velcro to your head size. It should be tight enough to keep the sensors in place but loose enough to remain comfortable. If you experience discomfort for any reason immediately discontinue use. Too high Too low Correct! Note: Aurora's pure silver sensors must maintain direct skin contact during use. Make sure hair, make-up or other materials don't get trapped between your skin and the sensors.

Using Aurora Turning Aurora on Press the button on the top of your Aurora to power it on. (Making sure the device is charged and the USB cable is not plugged in). You should hear a startup chime and the LEDs will light up, indicating your Aurora is ready for use. You may now place Aurora onto your head. The LEDs will turn off once Aurora senses your brainwaves.

Our ebooks When finished using Aurora, hold the button down until the LEDs turn red and then release it to power down. Then connect Aurora to one of our apps. Keep Aurora charged when not in use. For the best Aurora experience, please read our ebooks: Understanding your Sleep Architecture: iwinks.io/sleep-ebook Lucid Dreaming with Aurora: iwinks.io/lucid-guide

Stay Connected Use the Aurora apps to review your performance, download new updates, and participate in ongoing community events. For best results, we encourage you to contribute your anonymous data to our Open database via Aurora Desktop. This allows us to monitor the performance of your device, create algorithm and user experience improvements and expedite the release of new features from the Aurora team. Contact Support@iwinks.org if you have difficulty connecting to one of the Aurora apps.

Charging Aurora Use the provided USB cable to charge your Aurora, allowing up to 2 hours for a full charge. Press the button while charging to periodically pulse the charge status: Red Low charge Resetting Aurora Should Aurora stop responding, use a paperclip to press the tiny reset button located on the back of the case (you will need to detach the headstrap). Pressing this button forces Aurora to reset and should allow it to recover from unknown states. Orange Green Medium charge High charge, ready to use Only connect your Aurora to a computer, wall charger or power supply certified by a recognized testing laboratory.
