Box contents Model Undercarriage Accessories Instructions Highlights Laser cut kit Ideal to have with you at all times Prepared for retracts Aileron, elevator, vertical fin and throttle Fuselage made of balsa and plywood Wings made of wood in rib construction 1. Mount the undercarriage support. 2. The undercarriage wire support is doubled-layered as shown 3. and glued together. 4. Undercarriage support and fuselage side peices are jointed and aligned in a right angle. 3

5. Insert further ribs and glue together.!!adhere to right angle and make sure nothing is displaced!! 6. The construction is turned. Servo/ battery board and motor support are mounted. 7. The motor support already has a side pull and drop installed. Looking from the cockpit the motor rib is showing to the right. 8. The fuselage rib and fuselage belts are glued. 9. The ribs at the rear for the fuselage are inserted into the groove and glued. 10. 3 x 4 mm balsa belts are glued to underside and upside. 4

11. The frame for the battery cover are assembled as shown. For it to fit nicely we recommend to glue it later on once the fuselage is completed. 12. The half-rib is now glued to the fuselage. 13. The baldachin support is mounted from the shown parts. 14. The slat for wire guidance is glued into place 15. The baldrachin is made of 4 long wire pieces and 2 diagonal joints. 16. The 4 long wires are glued into the groove and fixed with the plywood side pieces.. 5

17. Plank fuselage with 1.5 mm balsa 18. underside with 2 mm balsa. 19. The fuselage top is planked with 1.5 mm at the front. 20. The fuselage back is planked with 1.5 mm balsa and at the top it is rounded with 4 mm balsa leftovers. 21. 4 mm balsa sanded. 22. The battery cover planked and sanded. 6

23. The transition from fuselage to empennage is now completed. Glue a place holder made of 4 mm balsa leftovers together and lay on fuselage. Do not glue it to the fuselage. 24. 4 mm balsa is glued to the fuselage frontal.!!do not let glue drop on the empennage dummy!! 25. The balsa pieces are sanded incl. the empennage dummy. If successful the rear of the fuselage will look as shown once the dummy has been pulled out. 26. The empennage can be fitted to check. You may have to adjust for the rudders to be in a right angle to the fuselage. 27. The empennage and rudder. The wire will be used to joint the elevator. 28. To build a wing mounting support, use the enclosed plywood pieces. 7

29. The support is inserted into the fuselage and the wing is put on top. The support is taken out at a later stage. It was made to fit and position the wing supports on fuselage/ wing. 30. The wire is bent according to plan 31. and later fixed with a plywood piece. 32. The cowling is made of two halfs which are later glued together. 33. To achive more glue surface, rests from inside can be glued to the edge. 34. Once both pieces are glued together, the fuselage is sanded wet with 400 600 sanding paper. 8

35. The undercarriage cover is made of 3 layers of balsa. The first layer is cut out of 1.5 mm balsa with overlap. For filling in width, 3 mm balsa is used. 36. Pants made of 4 x 6 mm balsa (image without 2 mm side pieces). 37. Sanded pants. 38. The rudder is sanded on one side if foil is used as hindge and on both sides if a hindge is used. 40. The plywood holm is glued to the plank along the edge. 41. The holm is fitted with ribs and the rear holm is inserted. The shorted holm is not glued yet. 9

41. Now everything is fixed by glueing all parts together. You can also use the plan to do so but a straight line with a right angle is efficient. Only glue parts together which are aligned. 42. The tailing edge is mounted out of 3 parts. 43. The aileron ledge is glued. 44. Small pockets are made of playwood for joining the wings later on. 45. In this pocket small alu angle brackets are glued into place. 46. Now the front third can also be planked. 10

47. The servo frame is glued together. 48. And the cover scrued. 49. One left and right wheel arch is glued together. 50. Wheel arches are glued and the leading edge is also glued. 51. Trailing edge and ribs are supported with small balsa triangles. 52. Upper planking of wings with the leading edge 11

53. Both wing parts are now glued to the holm. 54. The curved edge is adjusted to fit the planking with balsa leftovers. 55. Sand edge once finished. 56. The wing is now fitted and the baldachin is aligned. 57 Clamps and alu angles are glued at first. Later they can be removed with the playwood fitting. 58. The alu angles are used in the wings 8 times. Cut approx 20 mm of alu off, drill through and bend. 12

59. Also for the outer braces alu angles are glued into the pocket. 60. Made from 1.5 mm balsa leftovers a frame is made for the rudder horn so the foil does not crinkle. 61. Servo mounting. 62.
