DF Series High-Flow Diaphragm Valve Features Design Flow coefficient of 0.62 for high-flow requirements. Springless design minimizes particle generation. Fully swept flow path enhances purging and gas replacement. Minimal PCTFE volume for low gas adsorption and desorption. Fully contained seat insert for increased cycle life. 1/4 in. high-flow H Type VCR fittings, 1/2 in. VCR fittings, 3/8 and 1/2 in. butt weld end connections. Materials and Surface Finishes Wetted components: 316L VAR stainless steel body, PCTFE seat insert, and Elgiloy diaphragms. Choice of standard, P, or PX internal finishes for a variety of application requirements. P and PX finishes are manufactured to Swagelok Specification SC-01. Cleaning and Testing Ultra-high-purity processing to Swagelok Specification SC-01 with P and PX finishes. Standard finish is cleaned and packaged to Swagelok Specification SC-11. All valves are helium leak tested to a rate of 1 10 9 std cm 3 /s at the seat, envelope, and all seals. Pneumatic Actuation Choice of normally closed or normally open models for remote actuation. 2 DL and DS Series Diaphragm Valves Features DL Series DL series diaphragm valves require just one-quarter turn of the handle to actuate the valve from fully open to closed. Position indicator ring provides visual confirmation that the valve is fully open or closed. Splined handle and actuator prevent handle slippage and assure positive valve actuation. DS Series DS series diaphragm valves require approximately 1 1/2 turns to operate from fully open to closed. Flow coefficient of 0.30 for high-flow requirements.
