(Recommend to fully depress and release 5%, giving the device room for changing door conditions.) Step 2- While depressing the push pad, apply power. (i.e. presenting the credential to the reader). Step 3- Step 4-2 Beeps Setting PTS **Important Info** Make sure to set PTS before finishing installation Continue to keep pad depressed, the device will beep 6 times. After the beeps have stopped, release the pad and now the adjustment is complete. If not to your liking repeat the 3 steps. Once you found the correct location, turn PTS switch to OFF position. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics Beeps Explanation Solution Over Voltage > 28V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V. 3 Beeps Under Voltage < 22V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 24 V. 4 Beeps Failed Sensor Verify all 3 sensor wires are installed correctly. Replace sensor if problem persists by contacting CAT tech support. 5 Beeps Retraction or dogging failure Device will automatically re-engage within 5 seconds. 6 Beeps 6 Beeps PUSH TO SET PUSH TO SET Check to make sure the push pad is not stuck or catching on anything. If mechanical obstruction, remove & push pad down until beeping stops to reset. If no obstruction, the pad may have been pushed in too far during PTS calibration. Recalibrate with the pad slightly out. If problem persists, verify the magnet is within 1/4 of the sensor at the end of travel.

1. Remove end cap by unscrewing (2) screws. 2. Slide push pad device. Note: For AHT4/5 & PD11 s purchased after 2015 only. Remove baserail assembly first by removing 3. the 4 screws. 4. Remove both screws attaching head assembly to housing. 2 1 4 2 5. Remove dogging assembly screws. Remove back activating bracket screws as well. 6. Remove both screws attaching head assembly to housing. Activating bracket screws Possibly
7. Remove front activating bracket screws as well. Remove C clip connecting the head to the connecting rods. 8. For CVR skip this step. 9. Remove pin from connecting rod for RIM. For CVR skip this step. 10. CVR - Remove connecting rod assembly by pulling away from device housing. 11. Confirm which back activating bracket you have and follow below guide. 3/4 Cut down Cut Good!
12. Remove bottom pin from back activating bracket. 13. Remove back activating bracket from connecting rod. 14. Remove spring and spring cap. 15. Discard old spring and replace with new spring. 16. Line up acme bracket with the pin on the connecting rod. Mark on the connecting rod where the acme bracket stops. For Doromatic & PD10/11 s (old) retrofits 17. Cut connecting rod at your mark.
Re-insert connecting rod into activating bracket 18. with new spring installed. 19. Before re-installing attaching bracket make sure magnet side of the bracket is on the same side as the sensor. 20. Re-insert pin into activating bracket thru connecting rod, make sure rubber donut is in place. 21. After pin is installed put connecting rod assembly back into exit device housing. Rubber Donut 22. Re-install (2) screws to secure back activating bracket to device housing. 23. Confirm the spring is still at the front of the connecting rod if not re-install. Activating bracket screws
24. Re-install pin connecting device head to connecting rod. 25. Re-install (2) screws to secure front activating bracket to device housing. 26. Slide the new motor mount into the exit device housing. 27. Re-install (2) screws to secure front activating bracket to device housing. Rotate Turcite counterclockwise onto the acme thread until the holes on the motor mount line up with the holes on the exit device housing. Turcite Turcite Acme Thread 29. Secure motor mount to device by installing (2) Phillips screws provided. 30. Slide push pad back onto device. Make sure activating brackets are in the correct channel.
31. Add program sticker to back of the device. E. Step 1- Setting PTS Select your preferred torque mode (ships in standard torque) Press the device push pad to the desired setting.
