The following units have been added to the general elective units: TLIF0005 Apply a fatigue risk management system TLIF0006 Administer a fatigue risk management system. Imported units have been updated. Release 1.0 first release of this qualification. DESCRIPTION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS PACKAGING RULES This is a qualification for those engaged in driving operation job roles in the Transport and Logistics industry. It involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development. Job roles Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: Chemical tanker driver Fuel tanker driver Heavy recovery driver LP gas tanker driver. Successful achievement of the licensing unit in the qualification must align with licensing and regulatory requirements applicable to driving and state or territory regulatory requirements. There are no entry requirements for this qualification. A total of 12 units of competency comprising: 4 core units listed below plus 1 licensing/industry elective unit relevant to the type applicable to the job role from the licensing/industry elective units listed below plus Copyright Here Australian Industry Standards Page 1 of 6

All units within one of the specialist elective groups (job roles) from Group A, Group B, Group C or Group D listed below plus 5 general elective units from the general elective units listed below if selecting Group A, Group B or Group C or 6 general elective units from the general elective units listed below if selecting Group D. Up to 3 of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification. Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
