Tel. 01665 570 023 Email: hadden101@btinternet.com 07843 774 731 Chris Maughan, 8 The Uplands, Kenton, NE3 4LH Tel. 0191 2853 535 Email: chrismaughan@aol.com 07761 657 535 Meeting and Eligibility On June 11 th, 2017, the Reivers Section of the VMCC Ltd together with the Marston Sunbeam Club & Register are holding a road run for solo and sidecar motorcycles, tricycles and three wheelers which were manufactured by December 31 st, 1930, plus those motorcycles that were manufactured thereafter and whose original construction includes girder forks. A breakdown van will be provided to assist any riders having difficulties and riders will be able to make contact by mobile phone where areas of the route are covered by signal. This event is open to all riders, drivers and passengers.
Venue The starting and finish point of the Run will be Etal Village Hall, Etal Village, TD12 4TN. Signing on will be open from 09H30 and we would appreciate if signing on is complete before 10H00 and the bikes, with their entry numbers attached, are gathered for show to the public before we set off. The Run will commence at 10H30, with the earliest bikes waved off first. Tea and coffee will be provided at the Hall when signing on, there will be a refreshment stop en route and there will also be refreshments at the finish. Routes & description Two routes will be provided, both starting and finishing in Etal. One will be around 60 miles - suitable for the oldest of machines, the other will be around 90 miles. Route cards along with entry number, a small commemorative program and refreshment vouchers will be provided when signing on. Entries Please post completed entry forms by June 1, 2017. Cheques are to be made payable to Reivers VMCC. The entry list will be published by June 6, 2017, on the Reivers website: www.vmccreivers.co.uk For those wishing to enter on the day, before 09.30, this is fine but of course these entrants will not be included in the program, the completed entry form is still required. Rules & Regulations Machines must comply with all legal requirements, be roadworthy, carry an operable horn or audible warning device and riders must possess valid insurance cover. Riding number cards will be provided and we ask that riders please exhibit their card on the machine at all times during the event. Classes A Veteran manufactured before Jan. 1 st 1915 B Vintage manufactured between Jan. 1 st 1915, & Dec. 31 st 1930 C Any Girder Fork machine manufactured after Jan. 1 st 1931
Change of machine Should an entrant wish to change an entered machine, please provide details of the revised machine when signing on.
