Standard Light Capacity Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeders Model BF01 5 tonnes per hour* Model BF01 gives you maximum feed control through instantaneous material flow cut-off. The nominated maximum capacity is for a unit with a standard 150mm x 600mm trough. The electromagnetic drive is dust-proof and splash proof and can be cleaned with steam or water without damaging any electrical components. Light Medium Capacity Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeders Ideal for installation into demanding environments such as foundries, mines or heavy mineral processing plants. When suspension mounting is preferred and feed rates still low as in sampling operations, we recommend either the F152 or F212. These units are the smallest electromagnetic feeders having the same design and construction as the Syntron medium and heavy duty feeders Model F152 12 tonnes per hour* With a capacity of 12 tph Model F152 carries heavier troughs and greater head load. Medium Capacity Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeders These feeders are ideal for use in mixing, blending and general feeding of a large range of materials. Standard units can be utilised for feeding ore or minerals into a processing plant. While Specialised feeders are available for a variety of purposes such as inspection feeders in food processing for example. All units are specifically designed and tested to suit any duty requirements. Our standard troughs are manufactured in mild steel with abrasion resistant wear liners. Units are controlled by a separate controller assembly generally using a single phase 415V 50Hz supply. Models F22 & FH22 use a controller with manual rate adjustment and minimum & maximum set points. The FR290 & FR370 are fitted with a closed loop stroke monitoring controller to ensure consistent feed rate by compensating for influences such as variations in material loading on the trough surface and fluctuations in supply voltage. Units can be supplied with special controllers for specific requirements. Feeders are suspension mounted as standard, however base mounted units are available if required. High Stroke Model FV Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeders Bulk Material Feeding with full range control Electromagnetic feeders have always been the best for the job. The Syntechtron range of Syntron High-Stroke machines introduce flexibility in use and eliminates the problems commonly found with less advanced electromagnetic feeders. Feeders operating at 33Hz provide important benefits in many areas of feeder operation. Improved Feed Rate A lower operating frequency means that the feeder can vibrate at a higher stroke. The feed rate of feeders operating at 33Hz are improved by at least 30% of those operating at 50Hz and match most mechanical feeders. Greater Head Load The high power obtainable from an electromagnet operating well below saturation means greater power for a given size of drive. Quieter Operation The lower frequency of vibration means there is a minimum of 8dB(A) reduction in noise level compared with a similar 50Hz Machine. Improved Feeding of Material High-Stroke feeders provide vibrations which penetrate material far into the hopper above them, loosening stubborn material and moving fine, powdery material at high velocity. This eliminates aeration problems that result from using high frequency feeders with shallow drive angles. Wider Range Feeders are available in much larger sizes and screening operations like grizzlies have dramatically more effect at a higher stroke. This is beneficial to the user as the results are smaller, quieter machines for a given capacity. Feeders can also be supplied with twin and dual drives for even higher capacities. Dependable, flexible control sets Syntron feeders apart from other feeding and conveying equipment. Feed rates are easily adjusted and response is instantaneous. Control devices can be supplied for integration with systems using external signals from automatic sensing devices in instruments. Special control arrangements are also available for selecting and sequencing a group of feeders. Syntron Heavy-Duty Electromagnetic Feeders require little maintenance as the design eliminates mechanical wearing parts as there are no cams, eccentrics, belts or bearings; thus reducing parts replacement and the need for lubrication. All movement is confined to a stack of heavy duty leaf springs. Electrical components such as the coil assembly will provide years of service under normal operating conditions. Dust tight drive units are standard on all models. Also available are drive units for use in Class 1 (Zone 1) hazardous areas with associated approval as fixed apparatus in coal or shale mines. Vibratory Loss in Weight Feeders Vibratory Loss-In-Weight Systems: For any process where tight control of feed rate and accountability of material is required, Loss-In-Weight Systems are the answer. The range of Syntechtron Loss-In-Weight Feeders is designed for applications demanding high accuracy over a range of capacities. The end result is a manufactured product of improved quality from the consistent feed rates achieved. A compact and versatile Controller provides a completely automated operation. When in Auto-Mode the material is delivered at a constant rate (by weight), refilling the hopper while operating, having no effect on the output. The Controller can be interrogated to show all aspects of the operation and can even be monitored remotely. A manual mode is provided for maintenance and setting-up operations. Volumetric Feeder Machines Volumetric Feeder Machines Simple design and flexible control account for the efficient, economical performance of Syntron Volumetric Feeder Machines, and the growing industrial preference for them. These units can feed most dry bulk materials and can be supplied to meet food grade standards. Syntron Volumetric Feeder Machine designs include four basic components: a supply hopper, a hopper vibrator, a vibrating feeder and the supporting frame, with supply hoppers fabricated from either mild or stainless steel. Model DS Horizontal Vibrating Screens These units employ straight line action and are commonly used in carbon in pulp gold plants, ion exchange resin separation plants and other solid liquid separations. Model NRM Vibrating Screen System Model NRM Vibrating Screen System The Syntechtron Model NRM liquid vibrating screening system is specifically designed as a modular unit for the efficient separation of solids from liquids or slurries. For use in the sugar processing, canning, general food processing, effluent treatment, paper and pulp production, juice and oil; extraction, distilling and many other industries. The system consists of a Model NRM vibrating screen, support stand incorporating adjustable down slope to suit the application, a liquid collection under pan, inlet weir box with internal anti surge baffles and adjustable weir, and deck flushing spray bar. Model MF Heavy-Duty Electromechanical Vibratory Feeders The High Capacity Performers Syntechtron MF heavy-duty electromechanical feeders are the heavy-weights of bulk material handling and are used for higher capacity requirements. The seven heavy-duty models available are capable of capacities of up to 6000 TPH. Maximum feed rates range from up to 0.4m/sec (80ft/min) depending on material characteristics and the trough down-slope angle. Like RF medium density units, MF heavy-duty electromechanical feeders are two-mass, spring-connected and sub-resonant tuned. The exciter unit is connected to the trough with specially designed polymer compression springs. Exciters in these heavy-duty feeders use spherical roller bearings, with life expectancies up to 140,000 hours. Fixed Feed Rate These machines can be supplied without a controller where variable feed rate is not required. Trough stroke can be set by counterweight adjustment during commissioning to achieve the required feed rate. Variable Rate Controller Syntechtron have a range of Variable Rate Controllers utilising Mechanical Feeder Control Modules and other auxiliary components providing optional Local / Remote, Start / Stop, Manual Rate Set and Auto 4-20mA control. SYNTECHTRON can also supply frequency inverters to control the motor speed. These inverters can be supplied on a prewired panel plate or housed in an IP-55 steel enclosure complete with the necessary fuses, switches and contactors etc. Feeder troughs can be fitted with a range of wear liner materials such as, abrasion resistant steel, rubber, carbide composite (dua plate), stainless steel or heated liners. Trough clads with stainless steel (plug and seal welded to trough) are often used in coal applications where high moisture contents can result in corrosive environments.

Vibra-Flo Bin Dischargers The Syntechtron Vibra-Flo Bin Discharger attaches to the underside of storage bins and silos ensuring that stored product or material flow smoothly and accurately when discharged. Solve Bin Flow Problems Rat-holing occurs when a product does not naturally flow to the central flow stream forming a core. The result is changing densities, flow stoppages or unpredictable rates of product flow. Bridging occurs when the material compacts on itself allowing the material to form an arch in the hopper or bin. The result jams the hopper or bin slowing or even stopping product flow. Electromagnetic Vibrating Tables Electromagnetic Vibrating Tables Syntron Vibrating Tables are designed to settle and compact dry bulk materials in various types of containers. Their application provides either a sizable increase in the net weight of the container or a reduction in the container size with subsequent savings in shipping and storage space. Syntron Electromagnetic Vibrating Tables are the most versatile and widely used Vibrating Tables in our line. The high-speed (3000 vpm) of these tables, coupled with a controlled low-amplitude that does not exceed 1.6mm linear vibration, produces a gentle settling action. Through that action the co-efficient of friction of the material is reduced. As the particles settle, the entrapped air is more readily removed. The amplitude of the vibration can be regulated to suit the characteristics of the material being handled. The rate to control this is built into Models J-1 and J-50. These units are used primarily for laboratory and light duty packing applications. On the Models VP-51 through VP-500, the control is part of a separate control box. This allows remote control, when desirable. Models VP-51 through VP-500 are heavy-duty industrial units, designed with sturdy steel framework and decks. Electromagnetic vibrating tables may also be used for laboratory testing purposes. Models J-50 and J-1 flat deck jogger units are perfect for conducting electrical and mechanical pack tests and for life tests of components. Vibra Clean Scrapings Conveyor The use of conveyor belt scrapers is a widely accepted method of removing material from belts, to prolong belt life and maintain belt tracking. Little thought is given to where this material ends up after it has been removed from the belt, until the build up needs to be removed which is often expensive, difficult and unsafe. The Syntechtron Vibra-Clean scrapings conveyor solves this problem, mounting under the transfer point between conveyor s and other process stations, spilled material is directed on towards the original destination. Units come with their own isolation rubbers and transmit minimal vibrations to supporting structures. The unique dish design ensures the product is always directed to the main product flow stream. Syntron Parts Feeders offer many years of powerful, versatile and dependable service. A diverse range of drive unit sizes are available. The appropriate sized drive is selected to suit a specially designed Trough, commonly referred to as a Bowl. The Drive is then tuned to match the particular Bowl. These units employ a vibratory action which results in the parts travelling around the bowl surface an a circular direction. The bowls are designed to orientate the parts fed making these units ideal for use in packaging applications. The Controller is selected based on the size of the Drive Unit, voltage, current draw, and any other special requirements.
