2 BREMEN CLASSIC MOTORSHOW START THE SEASON WITH US! For 17 years now, the Bremen Classic Motorshow has been the first major classic car show at the beginning of the season. You ll find everything related to classic vehicles on an exhibition space of 46,951 m² in eight halls. 660 exhibitors from 10 countries offer cars, motorbikes and spare parts for sale, as well as restoration tips. 3 SPECIAL CAR SHOW TAKE OFF WITH ASTON MARTIN! Legendary estate cars from various cultures. For a long time, estate cars were considered the unglamorous pack-horses in car families. They were neglected, worn out, forgotten. And they remained the black sheep while their sisters in the form of saloons, convertibles and coupes gained all the attention as treasured classics. Today, as their survival rate approaches zero, fans have finally recognised their qualities: maximum rarity value with top utility a combination that has earned some classic estate cars mostwanted status among all model versions. So there s every reason to roll out the red carpet for the family members recently rediscovered by fans. The highlight of the show Estate Cars from Around the World in Hall 5 is the Aston Martin DB5 Shooting Brake. Only twelve of these estate versions of James Bond s legendary company car were ever made. Kombinationskraftwagen is the clunky German term for estate cars. 4 SPECIAL MOTORBIKE SHOW A BREATH OF FREEDOM! US motorcycles from the 20th century. These bikes are something else: heavy, long, bulky and gleaming with chrome. Or that s how we imagine them in Europe. Tradition also plays a strong role when it comes to US motorcycles; Harley-Davidson has been on the market for 115 years. But are US bikes really like this? The special show The Century of Cool answers this question, entertains and presents exceptions from the rules. Some two dozen specialcharacter bikes will reveal the variety of the US motorcycle industry. The brands Harley-Davidson and Indian once dominated the scene, and therefore also the special display in Hall 1. You can see early two-cylinder models from the two market leaders, but also four-cylinders from the 1920s including less well-known brands such as Ace and Henderson and typical models from the AMF era of Harley-Davidson.
