It is tuned to deliver 79kW of power and 148Nm of torque at low speeds and mid-range, with a combined cycle of just 7.7L/100km (manual).^ The Renault Kangoo Maxi and Crew variants feature an economical yet powerful 1.5L diesel engine producing 81kW and 240Nm with a 6-speed manual transmission and impressive combined cycle of only 4.7L/100km.^ In a fi rst for Australian Renault commercial vehicles, the Kangoo Maxi and Crew come with ECO Mode, a fuel-saving system that improves economy by reducing engine torque and altering the accelerator pedal mapping for more conservative throttle response. Switch ECO Mode on to improve fuel economy in the city by up to 10%. The gear change indicator on the dash alerts you when it s the optimum time to change gear. The Renault Kangoo Maxi and Crew both provide an extra 384mm in length, with an extra 3 seats in the Crew. If you need a little extra space at the rear for carrying tall or long objects in the Short Wheelbase model, the optional Girafon rear roof hatch is the answer. The Renault Kangoo Short Wheelbase has a 10.7 metre turning circle, smaller than that of many passenger cars, so performing even the trickiest U-turn is no problem. All Renault Kangoo models have dual side doors for maximum parking fl exibility and safer unloading or loading away from traffi c. Choose between tailgate or rear barn doors. Overseas models shown The sturdy construction and highly effi cient power of the Renault Kangoo enables a payload of up to 830kg and 4.0 cubic metres of load space in the Maxi and 3.0 cubic metres load space and up to 611kg payload in the Short Wheelbase. The Crew model allows 1.3 cubic metres of load space with the rear seat in use, and 4.0 with it folded up. If you need to tow a trailer, the Renault Kangoo provides 1050kg of pulling power. An impressive 1.22m width between wheel arches in both variants means a full sized pallet can be loaded through the rear doors.

Standard equipment includes Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with ASR (Traction Control), which detects even momentary loss of control and applies individual brakes to the required wheel to correct your trajectory in an instant.
