In combination with the new, specially developed Tractomas trailer concept, ores can be transported directly from the mine to the place of destination without any problems. With gradients of 5%, payloads of up to 535 t GCW can be moved whilst loads of approx. 800 t GCW can be hauled on grades of around 2% inclines. When fully laden, speeds of up to 50 km/h can be reached and up to 65 km/h if the vehicle is unladen. The Tractomas PB (Power Booster) is used to support the Tractomas in order to prevent to much loss of speed when negotiating gradients. A further highlight of this concept is that by improving the cooling capacity transport operations can be successfully carried out even under the most extreme climatic conditions in the desert (up to 50 C outdoor temperature). The combination of Tractomas and Power Booster Technology results in the highest average speeds for large-volume and super-heavy land transports

The transport of huge excavators, earth-moving machinery and plant as well as equipment is reliably carried out in drive position For Excavator Lift Transporters (with or without pallet), moving gigantic excavators and other open cut mining machinery with payloads of 1,000 t and more using freely-arranged groups of vehicles is an easy task. 7 [ Transport with special vehicles 7.1 Special applications require special vehicles. The unique Mega modules have been successfully used over decades under the toughest of conditions. 7.2 With the especially customized transporter huge components can be changed, moved, attached and assembled on-the-spot without any problems. 7.3 U-Frame Ttransporters are also used in the mining industry. The further processing of the mined ore requires the removal of large amounts of slag or bulk materials whereby payloads of more than 150 t have to be transported. 7
