2 SPECIAL FEATURES FOR PRODUCTIVE WORK Front loader features Valtra front loaders are an integral part of the tractor, tailored to the customer s needs and manufactured to be ready for work. Quality is guaranteed by the largest front loader manufacturer in the world. Heavy duty construction for your needs Twin u-beam structure in the arms. The placement of the cross tube contributes to a superior view and optimal front loader placement. POSITION INDICATOR Easy to check the angle of the implement, especially the bucket. Softdrive loader suspension SoftDrive dampens shocks and vibrations on the front loader. The system features a safety valve that allows the stabiliser to be activated only when the loader is touching the ground. Drive anywhere you want in the smoothest possible way. SoftDrive is activated from the operator s cab with an electric on/off switch. CENTRAL VALVE In the central valve all the hydraulic sources are located in the centre of the loader s crossbeam. The valve reacts immediately to driver inputs, and the oil flow is distributed evenly to both sides also in winter conditions. A removable cover protects the central valve. SPECIALLY DESIGNED CROSSBEAM The strong crossbeam is located as far forwards on the front loader as possible, which offers excellent forward visibility. In addition, the forward location of the crossbeam allows for more even weight distribution between the loader and the tractor, as the attachment point is situated further back on the tractor. Tool carrier options With the 180 rotate tool carrier, you can clearly see the implement hook from the comfort of your cab, ensuring maximum control. Precise lateral STABILISER The stabiliser keeps forks, bale jaws and buckets at the precisely set angle throughout the lifting range from the surface of the ground to maximum height. Hydroquick or Valtraquick If you regularly take the loader on and off the tractor, you should choose a Hydroquick or Valtraquick multicoupler. LOCK AND GO coupling Lock and Go quick couplings allow the loader to be attached and detached fast and easy without tools or removable parts. You can connect and disconnect the loader with the minimum possible effort. SPEED BALANCE FORWARD/REVERSE (DIRECT MODELS) Rotating the switch reduces the speed in the chosen direction by 10 to 90 percent without affecting the driving speed in the other direction. On Versu and HiTech models a similar feature is included in the shuttle preset. TURBINE CLUTCH (DIRECT MODELS) This switch allows you to use the initial gas pedal movement to adjust the amount of torque. By pressing the gas pedal you can control precisely the amount of torque going to the tyres in order to maximise grip. VALTRA S HITROL TURBINE CLUTCH A unique Valtra feature, the turbine clutch is an excellent aid that allows smooth starts and changes of direction without slipping the clutch. Attaching implements, reversing and other precision movements can be executed precisely and safely. ENGINE BRAKING (DIRECT MODELS) The amount of engine braking can be controlled by selecting one of three positions: enhanced, normal and rolling. The rolling mode is recommended in slippery winter conditions. AUTOMATIC HYDRAULIC ASSISTANT On Versu and Direct models the hydraulics assistant automatically adjusts the engine speed according to the load on the hydraulics without affecting the driving speed. This ensures optimal hydraulic output at all times. Strong factory fitted subframe New casted subframes for the N3 Series offer increased strength with less weight plus a stylish and modern design. The new one-part design makes it possible to maximise fuel tank size and locate the exhaust after the treatment components. N SERIES FRONT PROTECTION Integrated solution for full protection. Selecto Fix implement quick coupler With a simple movement, you can easily attach the implement hydraulics without any problems, even when they are pressurised. Hydraulic implement locking Simple and comfortable changes of implements without you having to get out of the driver s seat. Steady support legs Easy-to-use support legs are fi tted in the loader beams for easy decoupling. All pins are galvanised and equipped with a unique pin lock. The tool carrier has extra strong pins where stresses are particularly great. A hinged locking plate with a compact rubber ring prevents axial play, keeps the lubrication grease in place and fi xes the pin on both sides.

4 MECHANICAL OR ELECTRONIC LOADER OPERATION On base models the front loader is controlled mechanically using the Ergodrive system. With Ergodrive, the front loader still has its own valve, freeing up the tractor s other work hydraulics for other uses. Ergodrive has been designed especially for front loader applications, so it is easy to use and helps enhance productivity. For more demanding applications, Valtra offers its own electronic control system. On A and N3 Series this means a special armrest that allows the drive to control the electronic loader valves using the joystick. The position of the armrest can be adjusted, and since controlling the front loader electronically does not require the use of force, the driver can work long days effectively and safely. the oils are separate. This makes it possible to use many different kinds of implements in addition to the front loader without having to change the oils so frequently. With Valtra tractors, the front loader is not an accessory. It is fi t- ted at the factory and designed to work perfectly with the hydraulics, and servicing and spare parts are always guaranteed. SERIES HT The Series HT bucket is a soil bucket with teeth. It has the same versatile design as the popular Series H bucket, but the HT has teeth along its cutting edge. PALLET FORKS The Pallet Fork is durable, stable and safe. The upper support of the back frame is made in one piece and the load the fork carries is distributed over a large area. BIG BAG LIFTER The Big Bag Lifter is a simple and secure solution for handling large bags. The hook is bent to one side, which makes it easier for the operator to see the hook from the driver s seat. On HiTech models the hydraulic output is either 73 or 90 litres per minute (55 l/min on A Series models). The hydraulics and transmission share the same oil. On N Series Versu and Direct models the output is either 115, 160 or 200 litres per minute, and Ergodrive Front loader control next to the seat (optional on HiTech models) Valtra Arm the most advanced front loader control is available naturally on Versu and Direct models, on which all the work hydraulics are controlled electronically. Silograb The Silograb is unusually strong and effective. The close spacing of the tines practically eliminates the spilling of silage. The tines make a circular motion through the material, which produces the cleanest cut, the least power requirement and the longest service life for the tines. Unigrip The light weight Unigrip bale jaw is used in similar tasks as the Flexigrip. Unigrip is well suited for smaller diameter bales. The arms distribute the pressure evenly over a large area. This ensures careful handling of the bales. MANURE FORK The Manure Fork is built to last. The bottom beams have welded sleeves for the tines that make the connection stronger. The tines are tightened to a very high torque and fitted on before painting the fork.
