All models come with a choice of engines up to 505hp and 1850lb/ft of torque. The original T404 model offers maximum interior space within the cab, while the T404S/ST variants have been developed for applications needing a shorter bumper-to-back-of-cab length. The recessed-back sleeper options are particularly suitable for 48 refrigerated trailer configurations, with their specially profiled rear allowing increased swing clearance. 7 T404SAR T404SAR 19m Rigid Truck & Quad Dog: Axle spacing > 17.5m permits 50.0t GCM Designed for Maximum Payload and Maximum Profit Known as the OptimiSAR, the T404SAR was specifically designed to provide maximum payload under Australian regulations for 19m B-Double and most 19m Quad Dog applications. The set-forward front axle provides optimal axle group spacings for these vocations, allowing up to half a tonne of additional payload on every trip. Reflecting its function as a tough workhorse, the T404SAR features the classic Kenworth flat grille and hood.
