4 4 Introduction The New Quad-4 Doorway Dolly from Proaim is the Strongest Platform Dolly. It s the next generation doorway dolly based on industry proven design and engineering. The Quad-4 Dolly offers all-wheel steering which allows for greater turning flexibility. It is constructed from highest grade materials for Ultimate Strength and will Deliver Years of Reliable Support. It features pneumatic wheels, non-slip wooden platform, two removable side boards, switchable comfortable operator seat and push/pull steering bars. Payload capacity is over 500kg/1100lb. On this dolly; add crane, bazooka, tripod, slider, or whatever you can think of! Load it with gear to get to the location with ease! DO SECURE ALL COMPONENTS CORRECTLY Before using the Quad Dolly, check to ensure that all components are secured correctly and that the respective safety elements are in place.

6 ALWAYS AIR-FILL THE WHEELS PROPERLY To avoid unwanted platform movement and instability, ensure that all 4 pneumatic wheels are filled properly. In cases where the dolly is used with lower pressure, all 4 wheels must have the same pressure. NEVER LEAVE THE FIXTURES LOOSE Carefully tighten all the parts & fasteners to prevent damage to the equipment & any harm to crew. When transporting the dolly, all temporarily assembled accessories should be removed from dolly and steering bars should be folded flat onto the platform. INSPECT THE SURROUNDINGS PRIOR TO OPERATION When using a track system the assembly instructions and safety guidelines must be read and understood before set-up or operation. The operating area of dolly on track and its accessories must be kept clear. Keep a distance of approximately 0.5m to surrounding objects. BE CAUTIOUS WHILE USING Do not use the dolly on sloping ground/surface or in vehicles. Lack of attention can result in hitting of equipment. Ensure that the ground surface is stable and cannot give way. In case the ground surface is not stable, dolly must be used on track and track must be assembled on a stable support material. It must be ensured that both the track and support material are secured against moving, slipping and collapse. EQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF WEIGHT IS NECESSARY When loading the Quad Dolly, it is important to achieve an equal distribution of weight. Avoid one sided or off-set payloads at either side or end of the main dolly platform and also on extra side platforms. 6 FOLLOWING THESE GUIDELINES WILL PROVIDE BETTER SHOTS AND TROUBLE FREE OPERATION. 7 Assembling The Doorway Dolly 7 Firstly, insert 4 Pneumatic Wheels to wheel rod of the Dolly. Tighten the nuts properly with the help of provided tool to secure it. NOTE: By correctly using Steering Push/Pull Bars, it is possible to maneuver Quad Dolly with extreme precision. Position single Steering Push/Pull Bar centrally on the steering rod mount located on rear axle of dolly. Connect them properly by locking with provided knob.

8 8 Position dual Steering Push/Pull Bar on the steering rod mount located on rear axle of dolly. Connect them properly by locking with provided knob. NOTE: You can use both the Steering Bars together for heavier setups. Attaching the Chair To mount the Chair, you need to connect Z-Bracket onto dolly base.

9 9 Insert Seat Rod into Z-Bracket and lock it securely with the respective locking knob. Now attach the Chair with Z-Bracket and tighten the provided knob to fix it accurately. NOTE: Chair is adjustable and moves in forward/backward position, to provide more comfort to the operator.

10 10 NOTE: Additional Side Platforms can be used to extend the size of Quad-4 Pro Dolly. Finally, insert the 2 Side Boards into 2 connection rods found on each side of Main Dolly Platform and secure them appropriately. NOTE: If you have purchased (DL-QDFW-01) kit, please consider the following steps. NOTE: Mounting of Euro Adapter enables fitting of various camera mounting accessories such as Bazooka, Risers, and other Adapters etc. Take out the allen bolts from dolly base to attach Euro Adapter. Place the Euro Adapter by carefully aligning the holes on dolly. Then tighten the allen bolts back to secure it properly on the base.

12 WARRANTY We offer a one year warranty for our products from the date of purchase. We will repair or replace your product, free of charge, in the event of a defect in materials or craftsmanship obtained during normal use or handling based on the user manual. Please note that we will not cover any shipping costs for returning the product to us. If any VAT or import duties are applied to the return, we will also charge these costs to the customer. The warranty does not include, by the way of example, damage caused by products that we do not supply or from mishandling in transit, accident, misuse, neglect, lack of care of the product, or service by anyone other than our company. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the unit or occurring due to any breach of this warranty. Replacement parts of the product will be provided at nominal cost (covering the cost price of the replacement parts only) to the customers after the Warranty Period has expired. We will cover the complete cost of sending replacement parts within the warranty period. After that, Nominal cost of the product & Actual shipping cost will be charged.
