6 Cleaning and Maintenance Interval Inspection / Service Description After Each Use Cleaning Clean stainless steel tub every week or when films or deposits become apparent. Use a mild cleaning agent, rinse thoroughly and towel dry. Commercial cleaners need to be approved for use on stainless steel surfaces. Only use nylon or plastic bristle scrubbers when needed. Using steel wool or steel brush may cause steel particles to embed into surface causing rust. (Note: When using scrubbers always scrub with the grain of the steel). Avoid prolonged surface exposure to chlorides, bromides, iodides and thiocyanates. Salty solutions allowed to evaporate on stainless steel surfaces may cause pitting, corrosion or metal discoloration. Clean debris trap after each use from hair and any other debris. Weekly Cleaning Obvious Damage Wipe painted metal & plastic surfaces with a clean soft cloth and mild cleaner. Visually inspect components for damage to ensure they are functioning properly.
