We provide more than just components; our expertise is to provide a control system that can include the shifter lever, push-pull control cable, connection kit, and mounting hardware. We supply to a broad range of truck and bus OEM's worldwide from our Holmesville, Ohio and Rugby, England facilities. The current product line of transmis-sion controls will operate the Allison Transmission AT, MT, and HT series. We also have the capability to provide controls for the new 1000 and 2000 Series Automatic Transmissions. Consult our factory for details on these transmissions. Special configurations can also be provided for other heavy-duty automatic transmissions such as Ford, Chrysler, or GM. The product family includes "T" handle shifters, top push button shifters, side push button "NG" shifters, shift inhibitors, transmission connection kits, slip link kits, modulator cables, protective boots, mounting towers and brackets, and hardware. In addition to our standard shifter product lines, we specialize in providing custom shift control solutions for our OEM customers. The military hummer vehicle and column shifter shown on this page are just two of the many unique examples that Felsted creates for our OEM custom ers. As the heavy-duty truck and bus industry has changed, Felsted has added to the product families to meet The military "HUMVEE", and the commercial "HUMMER" are examples of Felsted's custom shift control solutions. Based on a variation of the old post office vehicle control, we teamed with our OEM partner to re-design the shift control for both military and commercial applications. Our expertise in blending mechanical and electronics in foot and hand controls transfers to providing solutions in transmission control systems. W e use the time proven design team approach to deepen our current standard product offering in electro-mechanical devices, as well as team with our OEM customers to design and produce custom transmission control systems. For the OEM, we can offer our standard catalog products, custom controls or a combination in order to satisfy the vehicle requirements. In addition, we have a network of more than 75 distributors worldwide who can provide sales and service on Felsted products. Connection kits designed to fit any of the five most popular entry positions to the transmission shift arm.
