However these posting will be reviewed at the time of general transfer. The individuals promoted are directed to join duty within 15 days from the date of this order failing which this promotion will be cancelled. The details of the promotion should be noted in the Service Book of the promotees after joining duty in the promotion post. The drawing and disbursing officers concerned shall obtain an undertaking from the incumbent promoted to the effect that he/she agrees to refund, in lump, any excess amount drawn on account of this promotion that may be found consequent in any change in the date of effect of promotion. As per rule 7 (ii) of the Special Rules cited first the promotees will be under probation for a period of one year on duty within a continuous period of two years service. 5 officers are requested to verify whether probation in cadre of III Grade overseer is declared in respect of the promotees before relieving them. This fact may also be noted in the Service Book of the promotees. In the case of promotees who are on Leave without Allowance, separate orders for promotion will be issued subsequent to their re-joining duty in the department.
