Spin-Out 8 Unique to ITT Flygt, this patented design protects the outer seal and extends service life by expelling abrasive particles from the seal. Dura-Spin hydraulic system Spiral grooves on the suction cover in combination with back vanes on the impeller prevent abrasive particles from reaching the impeller neck, considerably increasing durability. Plug-In seal 7 The unique one-piece Plug-In seal incorporates two mechanical seals for double protection against liquid penetration. The unit enables faster and simpler replacement, and protects seal surfaces during disassembly and mounting. Clog-resistant impeller Available as an option, the specially designed open high-chrome impeller minimizes clogging when pumping abrasive water containing large soft particles. 4 Inspection chamber The inspection chamber provides early notifi cation of any fluid buildup in case of seal leakage, minimizing the risk of expensive repair work.
