2 What is RenewTech? RenewTech assists with the restoration and maintenance of your vehicle s interior and exterior appearance. What does it do? RenewTech is for people who value their vehicles and want to keep them in great condition. It s best explained with a simple example: Tarryn has saved up for a few years and she s finally able to get the vehicle of her dreams - a pre-owned sports vehicle. Tarryn loves her vehicle and even personalised the number plates as Macy. Important to know The maintenance and restoration must occur in the Republic of South Africa The following vehicles are not covered: motorcycles caravans trailers canopies vehicles used for racing and rallies Following a successful shopping spree, Tarryn walks up to her vehicle and noticed that an inconsiderate person has bumped into Macy with a shopping cart. A scratch has now ruined the impeccable surface of her beloved vehicle. Resisting the urge to go on a blind rampage, Tarryn phones M-Sure, where she has a RenewTech policy. Within no time, she s directed to an expert repairer, and Macy is restored to her original look at no cost to Tarryn. Love all over again. 1

3 The RenewTech Plan in a bit more detail Keep your vehicle in good condition and possibly boost the value with RenewTech from M-Sure, while we will look after you, when you have to fix or repair small and minor exterior* and interior** items of your vehicle, taking the guesswork out of selecting repairers through a reputable administrator with just one phone call. It s your guarantee of quality maintenance and restoration work through our repairer network. if you don t use any of the exterior and interior solutions under your RenewTech policy within a 2 year period, you qualify for a paint work treatment and air -conditioner regassing benefit*** In addition, you don t have to make provision for unexpected restoration and maintenance repairs out of your own pocket, or claiming from your motor comprehensive insurance policy Solution options available Solution options to choose from Lite Boost Prime Scenario events Exterior * * * Interior ** ** ** Paint work treatment and air-conditioner re-gas Solution pay-out limits that will refresh every 90 days *** *** *** R R R Exterior solutions* Light scratches smaller than 15cm in diameter Minor dents not bigger than 15cm in diameter and where the panel has not been ripped, perforated or torn Stone chips that may be filled and sealed to prevent corrosion Unlimited tar removal Maintenance and restoration of damage to your vehicle s windscreen, headlamps and related glass components in case of repairable chips only Restoration of wheel rims and mag wheels if they sustain scuffs, stone chips or paint defects Replacement of wheel rims or mag wheels is excluded Interior solutions** Scratches and scuffs to the vehicle s central console smaller than 15cm and 1mm deep A scuff or a scratch to the vehicle s dashboard smaller than 15cm and 1mm deep Scratches or scuffs to plastic door grab handles will be re-sprayed. Chrome plated and leather finished door handles are excluded Scratches or scuffs to the door panel plastic will be repaired and re-sprayed Tears or rips to the gear lever boot Restoring faded paint on the vehicle s gear knob Tears or rips to the vehicle s handbrake boot Repairs to the vehicle s head rests. The benefit does not apply to guides and frames Maintenance and restoration of damaged parcel shelf and strings. The benefit does not apply to a broken frame Repair of a scuff on plastic panel. The benefit does not apply if panel is broken or cracked Maintenance and restoration of roof lining. Replacement of the roof lining is excluded. The benefit does not apply to convertibles or vehicles with sunroofs Restoration of driver side s rubber carpet inserts. Loose mats and carpets are excluded Repair of tears and burn holes to the vehicle s seat panel Repair of damaged seat stitching Re-spraying of leather steering wheels, but excludes re-covering of steering wheels Repairs to damaged sun visors If your vehicle is fitted with safety film, the benefit provides maintenance and restoration for scratches, scuffs and tears caused by a sharp object or similar type damage only Air-conditioner re-gas and paint work treatment*** Solution options available 2

4 Frequently Asked Questions Does Renewtech only cover interior and exterior damage once? No. RenewTech is designed to keep your vehicle in great condition for up to 48 months. The pay-out limits refresh every 90 days. Do I need to claim from my insurance to cover the costs of repair? RenewTech looks after the costs of most small maintenance and restoration repairs without the need to get your insurance involved where you will pay an excess in any case. RenewTech Solution Criteria Qualifying vehicles: private motor vehicles light delivery vehicles with a gross vehicle mass of no more than 3 500kg Months worth of solution 24, 36, 48 3
