2 GO BOLDLY The bold Triton features numerous improvements to its design and technology, with a brand new, more efficient engine paired with new transmission systems making for increased performance, comfort and utility. The Triton s unique J-Line design (separating the cabin and cargo bed) has been refined and not only gives the car a sporty edge, but the practical benefits of increased interior space, a shorter wheelbase for a more agile turning circle, and a more relaxed back seat angle for better passenger comfort.

3 STATE OF THE ART ENGINE The Triton is powered by a super-responsive, lightweight 2.4L DOHC MIVEC 16 valve common rail intercooled diesel engine rated one of the most efficient diesel engines in the world. Power: 133kW@3500rpm / Torque: 430Nm@2500rpm This new engine delivers exceptional fuel consumption due to a class-leading low compression ratio of 15.5:1. NEXT GENERATION TRANSMISSION An aluminium cylinder block and lightweight materials reduce its weight by 30kg, resulting in improved responsiveness, handling and braking reaction. The Triton derivatives are equipped with all-new 5-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmissions helping to deliver a smooth and nimble driving experience much like that of passenger cars. Matched to a choice of two newly developed transmissions, this engine provides responsive acceleration performance at low revolutions. The 5-speed automatic gearbox provides smooth gear changes and enhanced fuel economy during motorway driving. It is electronically controlled and has Sports Mode for clutch-less manual gear-shifting. The new engine also produces less engine noise, contributing to a quieter, more enjoyable drive. The 6-speed manual transmission has a short shift stroke providing a car-like driving experience. 4 5
