2 STEP 1 Parts: FLOOR PANEL SECTION, 081-A Clip the pre-assembled floor panel section to the main body frame (081-A). FLOOR PANEL SECTION From the underside, screw the pieces together with four Type Q screws. 081-a FIGURE: 3 type Q type Q type Q type Q

3 STEP 2 Parts: ADDING THE SPEAKER SECTION Clip the speaker section to the main body frame as shown. Make sure the speaker itself faces into the car and not towards the engine. Take extra care with the electrical connection. This will go under the floor panel later. STEP 3 Parts: ADDING THE DASHBOARD & STEERING WHEEL SECTION The dashboard and steering wheel section has two tabs that clip to small pegs on the underside of the central bar of the main body frame. Carefully but firmly clip the dashboard and steering wheel section to the pegs, then fasten them together with two Type Y screws. Make sure that steering wheel shaft sits on its rest as shown. DASHBOARD & STEERING WHEEL SECTION Take extra care with the electrical connections that are not shown on these diagrams. They are very delicate. 4 STEP 4 FITTING THE WHEELS Parts: COMPLETED FRONT LEFT WHEEL (PASSENGER SIDE), 078-C, 078-E Feed the front suspension shaft (078-C) through the centre of left wheel s calliper, and into the base of the main body frame as shown. Fit the front suspension spring (078-E) so it rests over the suspension shaft and on top of the calliper. 078-c FRONT LEFT WHEEL 078-e STEP 5 Parts: 078-A Then take the left spring retainer (078-A), place it over the spring and shaft, and clip it into the frame. Holding the retainer firmly in place, screw the retainer into the frame using a Type A screw. 078-a type a

5 STEP 6 Parts: 079-A, 079-C Fit the front suspension (079-A) through the front of the left wheel s calliper. Place the front axle (079-C) underneath and screw the front suspension into the axle. IMPORTANT note: Make sure the side with the grooved indent on the front axle is not next to the left wheel. If it is, it s the wrong way round. 079-a 079-c STEP 7 Parts: COMPLETED FRONT RIGHT WHEEL (DRIVER SIDE), 078-D, 078-F Similar to Step 4, feed the front suspension shaft (078-D) through the centre of right wheel s calliper, and into the base of the main body frame as shown. Fit the front suspension spring (078-F) so it rests over the suspension shaft and on top of the calliper. FRONT right WHEEL 078-d 078-f

6 STEP 8 Parts: 078-B Similar to step 5, take the right spring retainer (078-B), place it over the spring and shaft, and clip it into the frame. Holding the retainer firmly in place, screw the retainer into the frame using a Type A screw. 078-b type a STEP 9 Parts: 079-B Fit the front suspension (079-B) through the front of the right wheel s calliper. Connect the front axle to the front suspension, making sure that the axle rests on top of the base of the steering wheel column. Screw the front suspension into the axle. 079-b FIGURE: 3

7 STEP 10 FITTING THE ENGINE AND BULKHEAD Parts: THE COMPLETED BULKHEAD Split the complete bulkhead into three parts: the left (passenger side) bulkhead, the right bulkhead and the rear bulkhead. You will also need to detach the blower trunking from the rear of the bulkhead. This will be re-attached very soon. THE COMPLETED BULKHEAD STEP 11 Parts: THE LEFT AND RIGHT BULKHEAD Carefully but firmly, fit the left and right bulkheads to the frame as shown. Screw each side of the bulkhead into the frame with two Type C screws as shown. left BULKHEAD right BULKHEAD type c type c type c type c

8 STEP 12 Parts: THE ENGINE Feed the engine through the front of the frame (so that the fan is at the front of the car). The rear of the engine, the transmission section, must rest on the central bar of the main body frame. ENGINE STEP 13 Parts: THE ENGINE Very carefully, keeping the engine in place, turn the car over. Use a Type C screw to fix the rear of the engine to the frame. Use a Type L screw to fix the front of the engine to the front of the frame. type C type L

9 STEP 14 Parts: THE REAR BULKHEAD Carefully fix the rear bulkhead in between the left and right bulkheads. It is held in place with clips in the left and right bulkheads. Re-attach the blower trunking from the left bulkhead to the rear bulkhead. Then clip the small tube from the rear bulkhead to the cross shaft assembly. REAR BULKHEAD cross shaft assembly BLOWER TRUNKING STEP 15 Parts: 080-A Attach the printed circuit board (Main PCB, part 080-A, wires not shown), with its wires coming towards you, to the frame with two Type V screws. 080-a 080-a type v type v STEP 16 Parts: 080-A The wires from the Main PCB (080-A) are all colour-coded. Match and connect all the wires that you can. Note that you won t be able to fit all the wires together at this point because there are more parts with electrical connections to come.

10 This section is now complete and should be stored somewhere safe and secure as there are parts that could be broken if not cared for.
