1 LAMPS GENERAL LAMPS Areas of use All Provita lamps can be supplied for the following usage: Mobile lamps Wall rail lamps Wall lamps Ceiling lamps Provita lamps convince through their top lighting performance and design. Series 1 lamps are most commonly used as examination lights. Series 2 lamps are small and easy to handle. They have diverse deployment possibilities, for instance as a reading light at a patient s bed or as a small doctor s lamp. The lamps Series 3 and 4 are mainly used as a patient reading light - due to the fact that the lamp generates only very low heat. Safety transformers which are integrated in the lamp s arm are well protected against soiling and other environmental influences by an additional housing. The cables are protected and routed inside the arm. The well designed lamps Series 3 are equipped with a low-energy-bulb. The generated heat is very low. The safety glas can be removed without any special tool - which makes it very easy to put a new bulb into this lamps - within seconds! The handle keeps the important distance between safety glas and patient, but is also used to integrate the on/off switch and the orientating light. The lamps Series 4 are available with 2 different systems with a halogen bulb and with LED. The double-walled housing keeps the temperature very low. Technology The double-walled construction of the lamp housing, the halogen reflector lamp (with a metal oxide vaporised mirror) and additional aluminium heat sinks ensure an extremely low heat load to the light crown. Due to the low heat build-up, the ventilation slits can be kept very small. This improves the cleaning possibilities considerably an hence the hygienic conditions. The series 1 lamps are equipped with stable handles. Patient and user safety is the focus of attention for all series. That is why all lamps are equipped with reinforced protecting glass as a standard feature. In practice Operation is easy and solidly constructed. Robust joints (with an internal friction ring) can be set exactly by all users due to optimally dimensioned finepitch thread handles (clamping levers). The highly stable handle enables the entire lamp to be brought to the correct working position. The universally useable spigot at the base of the lamp (18 mm) is suitable for use together with a wall rail claw, table attachment, wall attachment or together with a mobile upright stand pipe. This gives the user the opportunity to use the light easily at several different locations. Technical modification reserved. Light details shown are based on manufacturer`s information
