11 CONCENTRIC TYPE 11 PRESENTATION Concentric type butterfly valve, as one of the most resilient seated valves in the industrial fields, has a wide range of applications. This valve is a one piece body (rubber seated) or split body (PTFE seated) for minimum weight and maximum strength. Its disk ensures leak-tight closing, low torque and protects the seat. It s also a stretch resistant valve and has an anti blow-out and replaceable stem. PTFE bushings reduce operating torque as well as provide maximum shaft support and alignment while isolating the stem from the valve body, preventing corrosion in the stem journal and ultimately stem seizure It s available in wafer, lug and flanged type design. HIGHLIGHTS Positive on-off, bi-directional sealing The valves provides di-directional sealing at full rated pressure with identical flow from either direction. Variety seat style JLX VALVE butterfly valve supply various seat style. End of line service for lug style Lug style valves can be used in end of line service, with downstream piping removed. For upstream pressure is excluded between the flange and the seat face by the exclusive JLX VALVE flange seal design, there is no effective force to slide the seat downstream. PTFE bushing It ensures the maximum shaft support and centralized alignment. Wide connection style between disc and stem Pin, spline and square connection are the most usual connection of JLX VALVE butterfly valve. Pin connectiuon is the most economic style. Spline and rectangular connection made the orientation of the stem/disc better to enhance the drop tight sealing and prolongs service life. 23 23 HIGH PERFORMANCE PRESENTATION JLX VALVE high performance butterfly valve features an eccentrically mounted disc and are known for their wide application range and shutoff capability. It can achieve zero leakage easily and ensure more reliable sealing because of the resilient seat design. Resilient seat design also can achieve low torque so as to cost-effective of choosing actuator. Soft materials, such as PTFE, have excellent applicability to acid or other media, thus they use improves applicability of valves to various services. The seat constructions with its double offset provides excellent controllability, bubble tight shutoff, longer seat life as well as a smooth operation. 33 TRIPLE OFFSET 33 PRESENTATION Soft seat butterfly valves don t allow a good performance when used for severe application or frequent open-closing. The perfect solution for HTF service is triple offset butterfly because it provides an efficient and reliable operation. This type of design reduces torque value, and the metal-metal seat ensures a perfect seal on changes in pressure and / or temperature. In addition, the geometry of the seat allows minimal wear because it is only in contact with the disc at the time of 0 rotation. Moreover, friction-free closing of JLX VALVE triple offset butterfly valve offers a low maintenance and an extended work life. It has double block and bleed function. It s available in wafer, lug type, double flange and butt-welding end design. HIGHLIGHTS Multi layer sealing structure The JLX VALVE triple offset butterfly valves are designed with a metallic composite cone beveling, that takes advantage of cam effect, thus valve seat could be released from seal ring through the whole switching process. Then, zero friction exists between valve seat and plate seal ring providing friction-free stroking throughout the valve extends valve life, ensures no over-travel of the disc, allows for a lower torque for actuator to be fitted and ensures bubble tight closure of the valve, resulting in zero-leakage performance. The butterfly plate seal ring is designed as multi layer seal ring. This seal compresses on a radial basis and moves flexibly and elastically. All alloy hard sealing Triple offset JLX VALVE valves are provided with three dimensional eccentric sealing structures. The valves are designed and manufactured with unique techniques and dedicated facilities for maximum machined accuracy. This ensures full cone match of sealing pair, and eliminates the intervention and abrasion between sealing faces. The product features small switching resistance, reliable sealing performance, reduced sealing face abrasion and a vastly extended valve life. The alloy hard sealing allows higher pressure and temperature applications whilst still providing bubble-tight shut off. Eccentricities 1st eccentricity The shaft is diverged from centerline of the sealing surface. 2nd eccentricity The shaft is diverged from centerline of the pipeline and valve. These two eccentricities are designated for friction reduction between the valve seat and seal ring when opening and closing the valve. 3rd eccentricity It makes the valve seat completely separated from the seal ring through the geometric shape, during the whole process of opening and dosing the valve. The special eccentric combination not only makes use of the cam effect, but also completely eliminates friction. It enables no friction between the valve seat and seal ring on the valve plate, to eliminate possible abrasion and leakage, in the 90º stroke of the valve.
