Pond Park, at far east end of Arden Way. It is easily accessible from either end of Watt Avenue. Turn off either 50 or 80 freeway toward Arden Way, then go east on Arden. The park is at the east end of Arden. We usually save the picnic area to the right, toward the river. This is a Pot Luck, so bring a dish to share. Hot dogs, condiments, sodas, plates and cutlery provided. Ford V-8 s HOT DOG BBQ WM. POND PARK JUNE 8th It s time for our yearly Hot Dog BBQ & Pot Luck at Wm. Pond Park! This is one of the most enjoyable meetings we have, to start the summer off right! Pres. Dan Schwartz will bring plenty of Casper Hot Dogs. Russ Broyles will arrive early, in time to hold our favorite spot, under the canapé, located to the right of the park entrance. Do not stop at the entrance to pay the usage fee, the Club will pay with one check to cover everyone. For the Pot Luck, bring anything you think will enhance our wonderful hot dogs. Charlotte Murray will bring all the condiments: Mustard, catsup, mayo, relish, & her famous McGoop. With the way the weather has been this year, I hope I don t need to remind you to bring a coat! :o)charlotte

3 Charlotte s Chatter On May 4, 2011, we held our Regular Meeting at Vintage Ford in Rancho Cordova, CA. Most of our members were in attendance and enjoyed a Hot Dog & a meeting in the Soda Fountain and then had a private tour of the back room.

4 Charlotte s Chatter All the beautiful V-8 s (plus a few mongrels ) were outside, awaiting the photos. Every car was absolutely beautiful, restored or not. Each car was inspected & admired by everyone! Thanks to Darrel & everyone at Vintage Ford for a very enjoyable visit! :o)charlotte

5 RED HAWK V-8 CAR SHOW ALMA THOMPSON, The May 7 Car show was a tremendous success and all who participated stated that they had a good time. Alma Thompson did a outstanding job getting raffle prizes and organizing the raffle give away at the show. She was assisted at the registration table by Gerry Schwartz, Lorna Chapman, and Linda Nantz. Alma also sent out conformation to participates who registered and got the DJ and the five Venders. Steve Chapman did the dashed placks and placks for the club members who bought their cars to the show and parked cars. 50 cars, which were original 32 to 53 Fords and high tec. hot rods attended the show. REDHAWK casino gave the goodie bags and the money for the trophies that Alma Thompson ordered from a trophies company.
