With a focus on ease-of-operation and jobsite maneuverability, the RTX250 offers both contractors and do-it-yourselfers a productive and convenient to maintain trencher that gets the job done right. Along with the exclusive and intuitive VZ steer system, the RTX250 features a slender profile which allows the unit to move through narrow yard gates. With a digging depth capacity of 48 (121.9 cm) and a maximum digging width of 8 (20.3 cm), operators can install electrical and fiber-optic cable at the depths designated by utilities. A 27 hp (20.1 kw) electronic fuel-injected (EFI) engine delivers exceptional power to the digging chain, enhancing productivity. 1: Hug the terrain. Even when facing varied terrain and unfavorable ground conditions, the RTX250 s high-mount track design offers outstanding traction and minimizes ground disturbance. 2: Minimize service time and tools. The 27-hp (20.1 kw) Kohler electronic fuel-injected (EFI) gasoline engine offers improved fuel economy reducing greenhouse gas by an average of 25% - as compared to conventional carbureted engines. 6 Steer easy on tracks or tires. Versatile might be the best word to describe the RTX100 and RTX150 hydrostatic trenchers from Vermeer. Both models can handle a variety of jobsites and conditions when equipped with interchangeable tracks and tires. But the advantages don t stop there. The RTX150 measures in at a slim 35" (88.9 cm) and can fit through the close-fitting residential gates and landscaped areas in which operators work. It might be slim, but it s fit, too. Powered by a 20-hp (14.9 kw) Kohler gas engine, the RTX150 offers productive digging performance. The RTX150 is equipped with a heavy-duty hydraulic oil cooler and reservoir to manage system temperature increasing machine performance and reliability. Fortified with hydraulic pumps and motors to divert power to both digging chain and ground drive, both controllability and productivity of the machine is maximized. 1: VZ Steering. Steering is intuitive with the VZ steer system (standard on both RTX100 and RTX150). Instead of additional levers and steerable wheels, operators can turn the machine using only the handlebars. An adjustable trench depth lever helps operators reach depths of 4" (10.2 cm), 8" (20.3 cm) and 12" (30.5 cm), giving operators the versatility required. A standard crumber shoe reduces the need to clean out trenches by hand, enhancing productivity on the jobsite. Transport your walk-behind trencher with the TLR30 trailer from Vermeer. The tilt bed design and low loading height of 12" (30.5 cm) allows operators to unload their units without using cumbersome ramps.
