12 12 Berthiez RVU The machine is equipped with one to four water cooled spindles with power of 45 kw and a speed being able to go up to 18,000 rpm (according to the type of grinding wheels used). The design ensures a complete machining process without interruption integrating options of dressing devices, wheel changer, part probe, hard turning, etc. Vertical grinding machine with < 1.5 µm tolerances in concentricity and run-out The manufacturing quality of the hydrostatic bearing components and the very high rigidity and stiffness of the machine allow the Berthiez RVU line to attain highest cutting performance and long-term durability. The machine-line Berthiez RVU is available in different sizes. The machines can be equipped with a variety of different extensions, thus being flexible to suit every specific process need. 14 14 Berthiez RVU Grinding Hard turning Boring The optimized structure of the machine components guarantees ergonomically operation. Continuous process monitoring is also provided. The optional complementary equipment offers a global machining solution by integrating hard turning, boring and parts measurement. The hydrostatic table bearing with the torque motor table drive guarantees a vibration damped and backlash free rotation. The geometrical performances with tolerances in concentricity and run-out of < 1,5 µm make the machine suitable for every component with high requirements in accuracy.
