3 PERFORMANCE ON YOUR DOORSTEP Up to 4.1 T: 3.1, 3.5 or 4.1 tonnes, you select your maximum capacity depending on your requirements m: The boom of your MLT lets you carry loads up to 6.90 m in height. 24 inch: The agricultural profile tyres give your machine total adhesion on all types of terrain. You choose The MLT 7 meter range is available in different versions. You choose: - power unit (100 hp or 125 hp) - hydraulic pump (100 l/min geared, or 110 or 150 l/min variable flow rate) - transmission (hydrostatic or torque converter) - gearbox (2- or 4-speed mechanical or 6-speed Powershift). 4 You feel good......but you have to go home in the end! Farming has changed a lot, handling as well. The interior of the MLT leaves nothing to be desired with its superb bodywork. The driving position has been thought through and is a model of ergonomics. It is fitted with a cloth seat and the steering column can be adjusted in height and depth. So it s you that chooses your driving position. Ventilation outlets, sun visor, roof screen, air conditioning, etc. all help to provide you with a comfortable working environment. Exclusive to Manitou, JSM lets you control all movements with one hand safely and effortlessly: raising and lowering the boom, emptying and digging with the bucket, hydraulic movements of the accessory and also reversing direction of travel. You always keep one hand on the steering wheel to maintain full control of your MLT. Because silence is a factor in well-being, we give great importance to the soundproofing of the cabs (only 76 db). Sound insulation is provided by quilting on the roof and walls and insulation of the engine block. The dashboard has an analogue display which gives all the information you need during your working day: hour meter, speed, oil temperature, fuel level, etc. For still more comfort, the Evolution cab gives you all the space you need to feel comfortable throughout the working day. 6 7

6 Suitable power, moderate fuel consumption 100 or 125 hp: These engines offer an ideal power/weight ratio. The 100 and 125 hp available provide you with moderate fuel consumption and maximum performance day-to-day. 2, 4 or 6 gears: You will find the gearbox suited to your needs: 2-speed hydrostatic, 4-speed mechanical or 6-speed Powershift. Each telehandler must have a suitable power unit to give you the best engine/machine torque: too little power and you lose efficiency, too much power could increase consumption to no effect. The MLT 731, 735 and 741, come with two different PERKINS engines: 4 cylinders, 4.4 l Turbo 100 hp and 125 hp. Providing you with the capacities required and an ideal power/weight ratio, these engines will support you in everything you do. You choose the transmission that best suits your needs. The hydrostatic transmission (MLT 741 HTLSU) is fitted with the 2- speed mechanical gearbox. The torque converter, available on all the other machines, is available with the 4-speed mechanical or 6-speed Powershift gearboxes. Because power is not an end in itself, all the components of your machine (power unit, transmission, axles, hydraulics and tyres) are combined in such a way as to optimise the power produced by your engine.
