2 COMPANY PROFILE PTC WATERBLASTING SYSTEMS is part of a worldwide group of companies manufacturing high pressure pumps, accessories, working tools, and complete high pressure units. In our American facilities, we are producing complete water jetting units tailored to customer s needs and we support our partners with Service, Spare Parts and Rental Equipment. The heart of our product are top of the line range of plungers pumps designed for a very wide range of different applications in many industrial areas. Major applications include surface preparation, industrial cleaning and maintenance, concrete renovation, hydrodemolition, chemical injection and hydrostatic testing. Process applications include foundries, steel plants, hydrostatic compaction, etc. 2

3 HYDRODYNAMIC UNITS PTC hydrodynamic units cover a complete power range from 50 to 550 HP in continuous duty by high grade triplex pumps with maximum working pressures up to 40K psi. These units are CAD-designed by our technical staff and produced in our facility in a wide range of models to suit different input powers (electric or diesel engine driven), assemblies (skid or trailer) and accessories (engine cabinet, pneumatic control, etc.), all tested in-house to assure the satisfaction of even the strictest requirements concerning reliability and performances. PTC can solve innovative and standard applications mainly in the fields of: - Maritime and Industrial maintenance (cleaning of ship hulls, pipe, exchangers, towers, filters cleaning, etc). - Pressurization (presses, hydro-forming, line and plant testing, etc). - Concrete and surface renovation (hydro-demolition, flaming, ripping, etc). - Various industrial uses (foundry castings, precision foundry, continuous casting descaling systems, cleaning and deburring of special materials, etc.) as well as underwater applications. SPECIAL EQUIPMENTS PTC works closely with its customers to develop a wide range of tailor made equipment, including: - TEST BENCHES AND SYSTEMS: for flushing and testing pipes and pressures up to 60K psi - FIXED WASHING SYSTEMS AND PLANTS: to facilitate hydrodynamic cleaning in industrial areas. 3

4 10K, 20K & 40K STANDARD DIESEL UNIT CONFIGURATION (customized configurations on request) The trailer unit is complete with easy to use Tier III Diesel engine, manual clutch, automotive fuel tank, high volume water tank, bag filter (double for 40K), booster pump and HP triplex pump. Double safety valves, gauges, pressure and temperature sensors together with an ATC can handle every working pressure range, without waste of water. Dump guns (or foot valves) and tumble boxes are available with these versions. On request: Skid mounted, Tier engines, pneumatic driven clutch, manual or pneumatic regulators (pneumatic ON/OFF for 40K), compressed air systems, remote radio controller. Control board manages: 1) engine with starter key, RPM/hours, low fuel and engine alarms lights; 2) pump alarms and engine stops for low pump oil pressure (P1), low water pressure (P2), high pump oil temperature (T), low water level (L). 10K, 20K & 40K STANDARD ELECTRIC CONFIGURATION (customized configurations on request) The skid mounted unit is complete of motor, S/D Starter, high volume water tank, bag filter (double for 40K), electric booster pump and HP triplex pump. Double safety valves, gauges, pressure and temperature sensors together with a manual pressure regulator (up to 20K) or HP pressure transducer (for 40k) can handle every working pressure range. Dump guns (or foot valves) and tumble boxes are available with these versions. On request: Soft starter or frequency converter, pneumatic regulators (pneumatic ON/OFF for 40K), compressed air systems, remote radio controller. Control board manages: 1) motor with main switch, start and stop button, working hours; 2) pump alarms and motor stops for low pump oil pressure (P1), low water pressure (P2), high pump oil temperature (T), low water level (L), overpressure (only for 40K). 4

7 HIGH PRESSURE BLASTING SYSTEMS The PTC Waterblasters 150, 200, 300 and 500 series units are designed to meet the complete needs of the water blasting industry. Trailer or skid mounted, they are designed to have high performances with low maintenance and short maintenance times. Triplex pumps are equipped with internal gearbox and the crankshaft runs at low speed (less than 500 rpm) which reduces maintenance cost on parts and leads to longer life. In order to upgrade unit performances - pressure and flow - (within same power range) you need only to change your plunger kit. Suction / Discharge valve and seat will be not replaced and can be used from 4K up to 20K psi. For multitask jobs, it is possible to replace an High pressure pump head with a Ultra High pressure one in less than an hour, widening your job opportunities of use of the same machine. The 300 series pump, for example, has the power to tackle the toughest water blasting applications with a maximum pressure of 20K psi / 1,400 bar (40K psi / 2,800 bar for UHP version) and a flow rate up to 60 USgpm (228 l/min). The newest HPP pump is equipped with the unique patented Intellivalve Technology. This is easy to assemble and quick to maintain. In just 15 minutes it is possible to replace the only required 3 items for the suction/discharge valves and seats. The 500 series features a powerful 550 HP pump with pressure range starting from 12K psi (800 bar) up to 22K psi (1,500 bar) and flow rate starting from 36 USgpm (136 l/min) up to 73,4 USgpm ( 278 l/min).
