New Reference Part Types New reference Part Types have been added for Exhaust Fluid Tank (PT 373), Rear Seat Belt Assembly (PT 212), and Interior Door Handles (PT 229).

3 New Reference Part Types New reference Part Types have been added for Exhaust Fluid Tank (PT 373), Rear Seat Belt Assembly (PT 212), and Interior Door Handles (PT 229). The Exhaust Fluid Tank (PT 373) was added to make inventorying these items easier. New Part Type Name 212 Rear Seat Belt Assembly 229 Interior Door Handle 373 Exhaust Fluid Tank IMPORTANT: These new Part Types are for reference use only. No Interchange coverage is currently available. Good to know: How to re-inventory a part under a different part type number Powerlink Users: As long as you ve identified a part description in the Conditions & Options field, you can run the Parts in Inventory Report (available from Inventory group in ProReports) to quickly identify which alternate numbers need to be re-inventoried. Using the printed report, you can complete a Find Parts search for the part type and locate a part needing to be inventoried under the new part type. Double click the line item you want to change, or click the Detail button at the bottom left of the screen. Use your cursor to highlight the first three digits of the part type in the Inventory Number text box, and type the new part type into the text box. Click OK to save the part type change. HYMS Users: As long as you ve identified a part description in the Conditions & Options field, you can run the By Inventory Number Report ( ) to quickly identify which alternate numbers need to be reinventoried. Using the printed report, you can manually update the part type number in each record you wish to re-inventory. Before editing the part type number, be sure to press <Ctrl-O> to allow overtype. 4 Reference Part Type Name Adjustment (Splits) To simplify the inventorying of door handles and seat belt assemblies, two new reference part types have been added to Powerlink. The existing part type Door Handle (PT 129) has been changed to Exterior Door Handles, and the new reference part type Interior Door Handles (PT 229) has been added. In addition, the existing part type Seat Belt Assembly (PT 210) has been changed to Front Seat Belt Assembly, and the new reference part type Rear Seat Belt Assembly (PT 212) has been added. If you inventory Door Handles and Seat Belt Assemblies, then the Verify and d Update process may take longer to complete due to the part type splits. IMPORTANT: Interchange coverage for Front Seat Belt Assembly PT 210 is coming soon in Interchange Version If you inventory seatbelts, we recommend re-inventorying your seat belt inventory into front and rear seat belt assemblies in preparation for interchange coverage. Before After Description Door Handle (PT 129) Exterior Door Handle (PT 129) Interior Door Handle (PT 229) Door Handles are a great way to increase revenue. These items are hot sellers in winter and online. Clarifying the inventory process makes selling much easier. There are over 253K door handles on EDEN. Seat Belt Assembly (PT 210) Front Seat Belt Assembly (PT 210) Rear Seat Belt Assembly (PT 212) Seat Belts are a popular item that can increase your revenue. There are over 368K seat belts in EDEN. Bringing additional clarity to this inventory will make it easier to sell these parts. Add Part Type Aliases for Reference Part Types 1. Access the Utilities menu by clicking Utilities in the menu bar at the top of the Powerlink window. 2. Click Part Type Manager. 3. Type the Part Type Number (229 or 129) in the Part Type text box, and press Enter. 4. Click Add Alias. 5. Type the alias in the text box. 6. Click OK to save the alias. 4 P a g e 2012 Hollander, Inc. Seat Belt and Air Bar Warning Regarding any and all parts related to the function of the restraints Original Equipment Manufacturers warn that by installing a used part from another vehicle, or even a new part other than specified by the manufacturer, the Seat Belt or the Air Bag or Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) or Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) may not perform as designed. Although parts look alike, they may function differently.
