1 NOCCHI Frequency changer Quiet operation, Constant pressure, Pipes in AISI 34, Superior frequency converter These are automatic pressure units for distribution networks with a single phase or three phase electrical power supply. The speed of the first pump which starts is modulated by the inverter, associated with an electronic card via a pressure transducer so that the outlet pressure of the unit remains constant, regardless of the amount of water withdrawn (within the maximum flow rate of the first pump). Whenever the quantity of water withdrawn exceeds the flow rate of the first pump, the second fixed-speed pump starts, whilst the first continues to be modulated by the inverter. When water withdrawal ceases, the pump below the inverter operates at a greater speed for an adjustable length of time in order to allow the accumulation of a certain quantity of water under pressure, which will delay the pause interval of the pump.
