H Caps are available in plastic, bronze or iron with 1-1/8, 1-1/2 or 1-3/4 operating nuts. All caps are drilled to prevent water pressure build-up. In addition, it provides a visible tell-tail low-volume stream of water to indicate that the hydrant has been damaged, yet does not present a serious loss of water or cause damage.
