2 Overview of talk Today I am going to: Give you an introduction to Wattson Solar Plus. Look at how the payback period is changing and the things you can do to shorten payback and increase returns. Explain how you as installers will benefit from helping your customers maximise the returns on their Solar PV. Create new revenue streams once the FiT cuts take full effect. Talk about the new products we will be releasing soon and how they will help even more.

7 Maximising Reduction of Electricity Bill Generated electricity is entirely free if no export meter or only 3p/kWh with an export meter Electricity imported from the Grid is at all time record prices average cost of around 14p per kwh Clear incentive to make full use of generated energy & reduce energy imported

8 How do I make sure I know when I have Free Electricity? If Wattson Solar Plus is glowing green, you have FREE* Electricity available This is especially beneficial if you can use things then so you won t have to use them later when you have to pay record energy prices If Wattson is glowing blue or Red you are using more than you are generating so you will be paying for the excess

9 What can I use when I have Free Electricity There are a number of products that can very easily be run at any time of day, such as: Washing Machines Airconditioning or Electric Heaters Tumble Dryers Immersion Heaters As Wattson Solar Plus sends the Generation and Usage data to the whole house, Energeno are creating Smart Plugs to autocontrol appliances to make best use of your Free Electricity These will be retro-fittable so install Wattson Solar Plus now and return to your customer to add new products as released

12 Reducing On-going Costs Inverters are likely to need replacing over the life time of the system. Other components lose efficiency over time Wattson Solar Plus can help show when maintenance and replacement is required.

This data is transmitted through to the cloud by GPRS modem for security (WiFi version will follow later this year) Cloud based Applications for: Installers to provide maintenance services to customers End users to follow their energy usage and energy generation online
