They re more expensive, but for good reasons. That said, Tundra s super high efficiency modified sine wave allows for high accuracy functioning of most appliances and tools. If you intend to use highly sensitive loads such as desktop computers, ballasts driven lighting, medical equipment or highly precise measuring/monitoring devices; a pure sine inverter is a must to prevent variable results.
