8 ABB in Bangladesh History ABB has been present in Bangladesh since its independence through agents / intermediaries ABB has pioneered 230 kv transmission system & supplied enhancement of distribution network ABB s Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) system has been successfully monitoring and controlling the distribution of electricity in the capital city Dhaka since 1998 July 1, 2009 Slide 8
