4 The origin of IMEFY GROUP, comes from IMEFY S.L. which was established in 1973 in Toledo (Spain) as a manufacturer of oil immersed distribution transformers. Over its long career IMEFY has expanded its manufacture covering a wide range of products and becoming a national and international reference as a manufacturer of electrical transformers, thanks to the high quality of its products, whether instrument transformers, distribution and power transformers, both in dielectric liquid or cast resin. Company located in Vila do Conde and founded in It is dedicated to Import, Export, Sale and installation of electrical material. In 1992 Euromatel increases its product range and becomes exclusive representative of IMEFY transformers for Portugal and PALOP`s and in year 2011 it becomes part of IMEFY GROUP with the aim to strengthen and enhance its positioning, not only in Portugal but also in Africa. After years within this market, IMEFY CHILE is founded in 2013 with the aim to provide service to the emerging renewables sector. IMGS line, with transformation centers and concrete enclosures are widely tested solutions worldwide, and now they are produced and integrated with the same commitment and quality standards which apply to all IMEFY GROUP.
