3 TM Electric Square Head Concrete Vibrators The Square Head Advantage Wyco Tool s high-efficiency motor design operates at less than 65% of full load capacity under normal job conditions. It maintains speed under heavy loads which allows the use of longer shafts and larger diameter heads. Unrestricted air flow and high volume fan reduce operating temperatures. The 992A (12 amp motor) will drive four head sizes: 13/16", 1", 1-3/8", and 1-3/4". The 993 (15 amp motor) will drive five head sizes: 1-3/8", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/4", and the 2-1/2" SBI short head. Optional polyurethane coated heads are also available to protect and maintain the integrity of epoxy coated rebar. The Square Head pattern The unique ever-changing, multiple flat sided, polygonal orbit of the Wyco Square Head is more energy efficient and more effective in reducing cavitation (post-holing) assuring faster and more complete consolidation, especially in low slump concrete. Compressed air is supplied to the vibrator through the air valve and inner hose (3). Air flows into the rotor, passes through the passage ways in the vane, back through the air gap on the rotor and outer holes in the rear flange. This activates the rotor and the vibrator begins to vibrate.
