12 2009 Pilot phase l: Launch of SG s EV test-bed Objective: Test different EV models and charging technologies Pilot scope: close to 90 EVs and charging points Results: o Price reduction is crucial for widespread of EVs o EVs were easy to drive and to operate o Charging stations easy to use Test-bed focused on gathering data and insight to guide the planning of future deployment of EVs in Singapore

13 2016 Pilot phase ll: Car Sharing Program Objectives: o Gain better understanding of charging infra o Evaluate the complementarity of carsharing with SG s public transport system o Provide a platform for other players in industry to test and commercialise emobility solutions Rollout plan: o By 2020: will deploy 500 CS, 2,000 charging points and 1,000 EVs
