19 >50,000 electric vehicles (EVs) were sold in CA between 2011 and Projections show the number of EVs in CA will reach 500,000 between 2018 & San Diego is recognized as national leader in adoption of EVs with >7,000 vehicles and > 750 publicly available charging stations. Soon airport will have over 40 EV charging stations available to the public. 19
