3 Georgia and Air Quality Out of the 6 pollutants measured by EPA, Georgia exceeds allowable standards for two of them: Ozone Particulate Matter 2.5 Both of these pollutants are a result of vehicles and exacerbated by congestion!

9 Desirable Criteria Project has demonstrated coordination with other regional air quality or development goals. Estimates of project benefits are based on past performance of this or a similar project under the same circumstances. Project is over matched in excess of the required 20% match. Project has potential for contributing to the efforts of other areas in nonattainment. Project demonstrates commitment to sustainability e.g. non CMAQ funding source for on going operations.
