2 Rüsch Sensor A Safe Choice for Continuous Temperature Monitoring Our special temperature Foley catheter for urinary drainage is equipped with a sensor which continuously monitors the patient s temperature while simultaneously draining urine during and after operations and in intensive care. The special product design and high quality of the material employed ensure optimum performance, such as high drainage performance and low tendency to encrustation, as well as high application comfort. The temperature sensor of this device has a measuring accuracy of +0.1 C / 0,2 C over a range of 25 C 45 C. The set includes a prefilled glycerine syringe which facilitates the inflation of the balloon and provides a high level of safety, thanks to its steady and constant fill volume. A choice of reusable adapter cables complements this catheter. Due to the higher rate of diffusion of sterile water compared with glycerine solution, we recommend using a 10 % aqueous glycerine solution as filling medium to inflate the balloon of the catheter. Rüsch Rectal/Pharyngeal Temperature Probe Optimal Performance and Convenience The Rüsch rectal-/pharyngeal temperature probe provided by Teleflex is a temperature probe and indicated for measuring the core body temperature during routine temperature management on patients in OR (operating room) and ICU (intensive care unit). The temperature sensor of this device has a measuring accuracy of ± 0.2 C over a range of 25 C 45 C. The probe is made of extraordinarily soft and smooth material and can thus be easily inserted. The material does not contain any latex or DEHP.
