7 Who should opt for Supercritical Biodiesel Technology Aailable feedstock FFA great than 20% by Wt. min. Need for a high purity finished product (Methyl Ester), exceed ASTM Need for high purity byproduct (Glycerin), Tech. Grade >95% pure. Increased Methyl Ester yield compared to Traditional Biodiesel Technology. Aoid Catalyst use all together and expect 30% higher energy cost. Grant money aailable to reduce capital inestment. Intent to deelop high alue products from pure Methyl Ester in future. Need process simplicity and less day to day monitoring. Need for low maintenance.

10 What is Supercritical Method (833) Supercritical is a state aboe critical point attained through high temperatures and pressures, where distinct liuid and gas phases does not exist. This property allows oils & fats to dissole into methanol under supercritical state, which is not possible under atmosphere een with a catalyst. Small changes to temperatures and pressures result in large changes in density and help accelerate the reactions beyond normal conditions. Methanol Oils & Fats (up to 100% FFA) Heat Exchanger Supercritical Reactor Back Pressure Vale Time: 10 to 40 minutes Pressure: 1000 to 4000 PSIG Temperature: 250C to 400C Catalyst: None, what so eer. Methyl Ester (Biodiesel) 99% Conersion Rate Adantages: No Catalyst Oils & Fats (up to 100% FFA) No Soap formation Low Capital High Quality Esters Process Simplicity Small Footprint Tolerates Moisture High Ester Yield Low Reaction Time Patented Technology Commercialized & Proen High Pressure Pump

15 5 MGPY Supercritical Biodiesel Production Plant Expense-Reenue Matrix Profit/Loss Matrix for 5 Million gallon per Year Supercritical Biodiesel Production Facility with ariable Expense and Reenue numbers based on historical data.
16 Budgetary Estimate to Build a Biodiesel Supercritical Production Facility Itemized expense distribution based on the past project data. It cost between $2.00 to $2.50 to build a 5 Million Gallon per year (50TPD) Supercritical Biodiesel Production Facility due to the smaller size of the plant. Please note, it will cost closer to $2.00 to build a facility between 10 to 15 Million Gallon per year, due to construction cost and scale dynamics.
